I am drawn to design engineering because it uniquely combines creativity with technical problem-solving to shape the future. The ability to conceptualize and develop innovative solutions that improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience excites me. I am passionate about using my skills in engineering and design to create impactful, real-world products that make a difference in people's lives. The dynamic nature of this field, where each project brings new challenges and learning opportunities, motivates me to continually expand my knowledge and stay on the cutting edge of technology. Design engineering allows me to bridge the gap between imagination and practical application, which is exactly where I thrive.

                  The values I hold in high regard for coworkers and leadership are the same as those I cherish in friendships and family: strong ethics, respect, integrity, enthusiasm, responsibility, and trustworthiness. Upholding strong ethical standards promotes transparency, fairness, and accountability in every interaction and decision. Integrity fosters honesty and trust, creating an environment where people feel confident in one another’s actions, making them more willing to collaborate and share ideas. Yesterday (Tuesday), I took a day off to volunteer as a judge for a Texas DECA  event. I was an expert in Business Law and Ethics for two hours. 8 teams of two high school students (grade 9-12) each was given the same business scenario where they had to think of a solution and present it to me - the business owner. They each only had 30 minutes to prepare. I was given a set of criteria to score them on - total of 100 points. 2 teams stood out, one team is from a very highly rated public high school and the other team is from the most expensive private high school in the DFW area. They both tied at 97 points. I had to pick one winner. In the end, I awarded one extra point (tie breaker) to the team from the public high school. The reason was they were the only team that presented a SWOT analysis to me. Luckily, due to my graduate studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, I know what a SWOT analysis is. I am was very impressed that these high school students even know what a SWOT analysis is, let alone present a comprehensive one.

I got this text message this morning. If I use 1800 working hours per year, the salary range would be $45,000 to $189,000. Really? I would like to think $25/hr is a typo but I very much doubt it. Anyway, contact at your own risk. I take no responsibility if this turns out to be a scam.
