As Head of Commercial Banking at LOTUS Bank, my journey has been marked by a steadfast commitment to ethical banking practices & a focus on driving strategic growth. Pivotal in scaling LOTUS Bank's operations, my expertise in executive coaching &management consulting has been instrumental in empowering our teams. We've honed our ability to deliver exceptional non-interest financial advisory services, which has enhanced customer experiences and broadened our market footprint. My mission is deeply rooted in fostering entrepreneurial creativity and economic development, particularly within the Sub-Saharan African region. At LOTUS Bank, our collaborative efforts in Islamic finance and ethical banking solutions have contributed to advancing financial inclusion. I am dedicated to the sustainable expansion of the banking and renewable energy sector, guided by a philosophy that values strategic partnerships and innovative approaches. My track record of successes include taking up challenging assignments, business turnaround and pioneering start-ups. I started first South branch of LOTUS Bank from ground zero with my team, achieved 100% of deposit &PBT targets, broke even in 4 months, among branches which closed 2023 financial year in profit, won Highest CASA Generating Branch Award and brought top investor to the Bank. In my role as celebrated Branch Mgr with United Bank for Africa, I transformed a perennial loss-making branch to profit, applied my project and risk mgt skills with Head Office Project team in upgrade of the location, and received commendation from Customer Experience Group. As Branch Leader with Parallex Bank, I diversified client portfolio of the South branch, identified as top talent and commended by the MD for my aggressive efforts. I strategized with TAJ Bank Marcom Team in branding campaigns for the first South Branch which increased the Bank's visibility. I was also one of the pioneer broadcast presenters at Family Love FM, a leading radio station in Port Harcourt anchored on family values. Trained in Board Governance &Strategy, I participated in webinars of Inst. of Directors, Inst. of Chartered Mediators, Nigeria Exchange Group, as well as Women in Mgt, Business& Public Service. As a strong voice for women, while in UBA I advocated for amendment of products for Women-Owned SMEs and drove financial inclusion through sign-on of 1000+ unbanked women. I am a member of the Harvard Business Review advisory council (an opt-in research community of business professionals) &Alumnus of UN Global Compact Academy driving ESG and SDG goals.
