Through Michigan Medicine and the #1 MSW in the US, I am learning the skills of CBT, DBT, and BPSS in order to specialize in men's mental health.

My first book, "Things in My Pocket" is a collection of stories from my life centered around the objects I keep with me day-to-day.

These "things" are mundane objects we all carry that tell a deeper story.

You’ll hear my stories and memories through the three pillars of my book:

- Healthy masculinity
- Emotional intelligence
- Mental health

These pillars are the foundation of my vocational discernment at the University of Michigan's Masters in Social Work program.

I’ll live my life to the fullest and record new stories as I make new memories.

Most men don’t realize healing looks more like an ultramarathon than a 100 meter sprint. 

This Friday, I’ll be running a 200 mile relay with a team of friends, including Mitch Whiting!

Not for a medal. For perspective.

Movement has been one of the most underrated mental-health tools in my life.

When I run, I’m reminded that prevention isn’t just what we talk about.

It’s what we do. 

One step, one breath, one mile at a time.

Strength isn’t silence.
Sometimes it’s motion.
