As the founder of TeenReconnect, I train and equip the “Good Adults” in our communities — parents, educators, coaches, and youth professionals — with the upgraded skills they need to guide young people to thrive today. 

With the Q Pathfinder app and the 7Q TeenReconnect coaching programme, I provide practical, personalised tools that help young people discover who they are, understand their talents and strengths, and learn how to create their own wellbeing. 

With a BA in Psychology (UCD, Ireland), an MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change (Henley Business School, UK), and over 20 years’ global business experience, I’ve combined behavioural science with lived experience as a coach, trainer, and mother of three. My book, Understanding Teen Stress & Anxiety: A Parent’s Guide to Building Love and Connection, shares insights for families and youth professionals navigating modern challenges. What drives me is simple: too many young people feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected. By training adults to be better guides and giving young people the skills to create their own wellbeing, I believe we can turn that tide.

If the world feels increasingly unhinged, you’re not alone.

I felt it last night watching the news.

Ego-driven leadership, noise everywhere.

So I paused.

I am sharing this photo to give you a pause if you need it today.

We can’t control the chaos.

But we can control what we let consume us and how we show up.

Learning how to live with constant stories of fear and endless data overload is no longer optional.

It’s an essential skill.

The triggers aren’t going away.

The flow of information won’t slow down.

We’re wired to notice danger for survival but our minds and bodies were never designed for a 24/7 stream of alarm.

We are not responsible for other people’s behaviour.

We can consciously learn to manage our own behaviour and responses however.

Real change rarely starts loudly.

It starts with small, steady thoughts and actions, right where we are, in our minds, our homes and in our communities.

No good action is ever too small.

So don’t give up, even when it feels like everything is falling apart and what's the point.

What I Do 

With a background in psychology, I have worked for global organisations for over 20 years and trained as a behavioural change coach.  In 2016 I questioned why what I had studied, which is transformational for well-being and performance, isn't something young people have access to in their education. They bring incredible value to the world, they are the future but they don't always feel that in themselves and we are losing too many of them to suicide and it doesn't have to be this way. 

I want to change this because young people deserve better. My organisation is about coming in before that tragedy happens not after it because then it is too late. It is about educating and empowering young people to know how to meaningfully connect and build the relationships they need to thrive in the world, it is about parents knowing how to be the good adult they need during this developmental phase and supporting innovative educators to make their well-being provision a meaningful one. The truth is without well-being there is no sustained performance.

I founded TeenReconnect and created the 7Q coaching formula so young people can move away from the negative cycle of living, many are now stuck in, to access a new positive cycle. I co-created the Q Pathfinder app which is part of the offering. It gives personalised insights for each young person to understand how they think and do things, how they manage emotions and engage with others, what motivates them and then how this plays out in their confidence, learning, careers, stress, goal setting and relationships. Why I Do It

 “If you don’t know who you are how can you create a life you love? It is so hard for young people to form a sense of their identity today. They don’t get the headspace, time to mature, lived experiences or freedom they require to be able to figure it out. They need support to know and believe in themselves. They need to relearn that they are good enough and uniquely themselves. When that knowing is awakened the sparkle returns to their eyes. They can learn to release their fear and stress the unknown causes, trusting that they will be ok. Learning to value themselves and create calm gives the space for courage and joy to return. It is a beautiful thing to witness and this is why I do the work I do.”
