During my initial quarter of working with a development team, I managed to push through an initiative that improved my main metric by 40%. I also saved around 2 months of development time for 2 teams by asking the right question at the right time. I work both in regular product setup, where I overlook my backlog and have significant input into product strategy. I also work to introduce best PM practices and coach other PMs as a part of our PM Operations division.

I led all of the product-related aspects of OLX’s new used cars business in Poland. I have ensured a successful go-live both in terms of the product being ready and having the right metrics and processes established.

I used my start-up and corporate experience to help other departments operate more effectively during the launch period and during the early days of the business.

I successfully achieved that thanks to the correct choice of the right user stories from a well maintained, transparent backlog. They embodied a roadmap and strategy I established for my team. I was responsible for establishing the product impact hypothesis that I would later prove using A/B testing and analytical software tools. During my tenure, my team and I achieved an ROI of 250% and improved our main KPIs by at least 15%.

5 AI skills are crucial:

1) Prompt Library

If you are still writing out each promotion bespoke by hand, you are missing out on a world of productivity.

The most efficient PMs have prompts for:

- Drafting a PRD
- Giving feedback on a strategy
- Finding holes in a prototype
- Creating an LLM judge
- Analyzing experiments

2) Automations

You can’t just use a chat LLM and say you’re a proficient AI user. Top AI-using PMs use tools like:

a. Zapier or Airtable for automation
b. Lindy or Relay for AI Agent workflows
c. n8n or Cassidy for multi-agent systems

3) GitHub

The expectation of the modern PM is that you’re technical: that you can vibe code, contribute to open source projects, and know what a repo is.

A great PM Github has:

- AI prototypes
- AI context engineering like RAG & finetuning
- Tangible AI side projects

4) Side Projects

A few years ago, side projects were shunned. That has totally flipped now. The PMs with side projects actually perform better in the job market.

Things like the following win:

a. AI wrappers that make money
b. AI services with paying customers
c. Free AI tools with lots of users

5) AI Tools

It’s expected that you are trying out all the latest and greatest AI Pl tools. A few categories worth knowing well:

- AI dictation tools like Wispr Flow
- AI insights tools like Enterpret and Unwrap
- AI image gen like Nano Banana and Midjourney
