For the last 2 years, I’ve been working in a fast-paced content agency.

And I still don’t clearly know what my role is.

I joined as a YouTube Channel Manager intern.

And then this happened👇

We completed the discovery call.

Clear goals. 
Good conversation. 
Strong interest.

I quoted ₹15k for full LinkedIn management.

She said it’s high.

Reduced it to ₹8k.

I agreed but reduced the scope of work.

She said she'll think.

Two weeks later, she came back and connected on WhatsApp.

So I made a decision:
If budget is the issue,

I'll adjust the scope.
Not my worth.

Because pricing is positioning.

And how you protect it determines the kind of clients you attract.

Closing a deal feels good.
But closing with self-respect feels better.

A strong hook and clear angle make scripting, thumbnails, and edits 10x faster.

Bad idea = endless revisions.
A good idea = smooth execution.

4.  Clear briefs save more time than good editing

Coordinating with designers, editors, and clients taught me this the hard way.
One unclear instruction can delay an entire content pipeline.

Communication is an underrated content skill.

5. Volume builds strategic intuition

After managing hundreds of posts, you stop guessing.
You start noticing patterns:
• What topics perform.
• What hooks retain.
• What formats actually convert.

Now, I don’t see content as “posting.”

I see it as a system that needs to be scalable.

And this shift changed how I work completely.

From: “What should we post today?”

To: “What system will make content sustainable long-term?”

I do want to build my brand here, that is true.

But in my own way.

And if people perceive me as cringe, so be it.

If I end up getting peanuts, so be it.

I’ve always chased and pressured myself.

But this time, I don’t want to care about results or what people think about me.
I just want to be myself.

So for the next 30 days, I’m going to cringe on LinkedIn.

Not for the algorithm. Not for validation.

Just for me.
