Career Preparation Coordinator, Professional Development Council

Assisting professors in planning time table for the semester, mediating between the students and professors in case of any clashes or logistic issues, and ensuring smooth flow of all courses. Organized various interactive sessions with the alumni and forwarding essential opportunities for the students.

résumés, and preparing them for interviews. Organised interview preparation sessions and various talks with seniors and alumni to provide the student community with guidance and resources for placements, internships, and higher studies.

Council Member, Professional Development Council

As a Backend Developer, initiated a novel concept of Stubs by developing a Java - Spring Boot web app from scratch. Used in-memory database to decrease the latency. The solution's automated mock stubs revolutionized API testing for developers. Wrote unit test cases to cover almost 90% of the Backend Codebase.

Spearheaded the revival and growth of TEDxIITGandhinagar, shaping a dedicated team of 35 individuals, and played a pivotal role in curating an impactful event featuring 5 distinguished speakers, while heading the outreach efforts and  assisting the licensees in overall team coordination.

Analysed the data using AWS tools like Redshift and Quicksight and drawing beneficial insights for the clients. Scraped 20000 links of articles and extracted Job Title, Company Name and Person’s name using NLTK, and Spacy.

Used React Native and Android Studio to develop an app to digitalize the buying and selling of Medicines. Implemented PostgreSQL and utilized the Medusa API to fetch and display the data on the application.

I am a student pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, one of India's premier engineering institutes. During the summer, I successfully completed an internship at BNY Mellon, a global leader in investment management and services, where I developed a novel web application for API testing using Java and Spring Boot, enhancing my backend development skills. I have also interned in Android app development at Datalane and in Natural Language Processing R&D at Lyne.ai.

In addition to software development, I have a research background in Machine Learning. I am currently working with Professor Nipun Batra in his esteemed Sustainability Lab on a Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) project. Our team is focused on predicting distribution-free intervals for time-series data in NILM.

Recently, I participated in the Worldquant Alphathon organized by Annuity (Finance Club of IITGN) and reached the Gold Level. Subsequently, I received an offer to become a Research Consultant at WorldQuant. This experience sparked my interest in Quantitative Finance, and roles related to Quantitative Research.
