My background is in Accounting, Asset & Commercial Finance, Personal & Commercial Banking, Insurance, IT, BPO, Project/Program Management, Business Analyst, Business Consulting, Strategic Development, Business Owner. 

Most recently with OpozO I have focussed on Product Design, Systems Development, Manufacture and Production Engineering, Logistics and Marketing. 

I am a natural dyslexic creator and innovator who loves to make the impossible possible by making the complex simple. 

I am a Business Process & Risk Mitigation Engineer. I have developed, managed, and led innovation success often achieving what people said could not be done.

OpozO will release its first brain changing physical products in 2026. 

We are now busy seeking and formalising USE CASE Studies of new ways to teach maths, physics, words, art, and business management skills.

We are currently developing OpozO CONNECT our first online system set to revolutionise how we work with and access ART planned for release in 2026. CONNECT develops spatial reasoning in new and fun ways we can all play.

Compositionality - Reusing Skills in New Situations

Should lessons in school and workplace training reflect how our brains work? 

I think they should.

One of the most underrated drivers of human adaptability is compositionality. This is our ability to reuse existing skills and recombine them to solve new problems.

If you know how to ride a bicycle, learning to ride a motorcycle is faster. If you know how to bake bread, making a cake doesn’t start from zero. 

Compositionality means we don’t need to relearn fundamentals. We repurpose what we already know, assemble it in new ways, and move forward. 

This is why humans can adapt quickly to new tools, roles, or environments even when the rules change.

Neuroscience research from Princeton USA recently highlighted that the brain is built for this. 

Rather than storing isolated skills, the brain relies on reusable cognitive “building blocks” which operate like OpozO Play Components meaning components can be mixed and matched depending on the situation.

Delivering ways to learn and train using tools that are designed to develop and compliment compositionality has powerful implications beyond neuroscience:

Should lessons in schools or training rooms be designed to reflect how we learn best using compositionality or continue to follow more rigid ways of traditional knowledge acquisition? 
 
With a choice of Linear or Modular Thinking it seems the brain subconsciously chooses a more modular approach.

Can we design compositionality into class or training rooms?

How OpozO Modular Play Aligns with Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model (NMT)

By chance this morning I became aware of  Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and how it might be applied proactively in Schools, at Home or even at Work. 

Its interesting work I recommend those who read this post should investigate further if not already aware.

NMT reminds us of a critical truth that the brain develops and heals from the bottom up through experience, not explanation.

Upon evaluation of NMT, it seems that OpozO Modular Play fits seamlessly with the model.
