Back in 1999 I stepped up as founder/CEO for a venture backed startup for the very first time. It was a disaster. I was the shittiest boss you could imagine. My ego was running my life. My product was about 7 years early. Eventually I learned that all of my employees hated my guts (and rightfully so). That was an interesting lesson. After crying my eyes out and delivering groceries for a while, I dusted myself off and got back into the game. I'm still here. Over the past 25 years I've found loads of ways that don't work and some that do. I've met, worked with and learned from amazing people. Today I help entrepreneurs scale.
