I am a highly skill professional University Teacher with "excellent" feedback from my students in the UK and abroad. I have extensive experience in teaching but also in commercial activities in several countries. Having started working in organisations at the age of 14 has given me a tremendous opportunity of experiencing the business world from a very young age. I have worked in several organisations, from MNEs to Family business. All experiences have contributed to my teachings. Students always emphasise my working experience as a key fact for my excellence in teaching. The awards below show the results.

I have been responsible for major areas in teaching which includes teaching, designing and developing  a range of UG and PG  programmes, supervision of UG and PG dissertations, mentoring, acting as UG director, PG deputy director, student's ambassador representative, academic coordinator for UG programmes, and developing and delivering  teaching workshops on campus and off campus.

The overall role of the Chair of the Board of Examiners is to:

a) Oversee the assessment of students taking the course, or taking modules under the authority of the Exam Board, in line with School policy and procedures.
b) Chair Exam Board meetings, to confirm grades and determine degree award outcomes or progression status for each registered student.

The role of the Deputy Chair for each Board is to deputise for the Chair in any and all duties, including chairing Exam Board meetings and taking Chair’s Action, during any defined period when the Chair is absent.

The role of the External Examiner includes, amongst other duties, consideration of examination papers and assessment questions. In addition, External Examiners are expected to review and ensure the consistency of items of assessment, including examination scripts, course assignments, projects or dissertations and supplementary examinations. External Examiners are also required to review changes to curricular. External Examiners are expected to submit a full and frank report to the University, summarising the standard of questions, the standard of the examination process, the conduct of the examination process and the quality of the students.

•	Help to identify peer reviewers and provide second opinions on papers (i.e. where there is a conflict between reviewers)
•	Identify appropriate conferences for editors to attend
•	Endorse the journal to authors, readers and subscribers and encourage colleagues to submit their best work.

The International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Governance in Cognitive Cities (IJEGCC) provides comprehensive coverage and understanding of the social, cultural, organizational, and cognitive impacts of entrepreneurship, innovation, and governance in the context of cities around the world. IJEGCC discusses the influence of entrepreneurial approaches, business strategy, small business, and digital ecosystems in smart and cognitive cities. The secondary objective of this publication is to expand the overall body of knowledge regarding the human aspects of entrepreneurial contexts, start-ups motivations, internationalization strategies, and smart dynamics such as smart cities, smart innovation, smart governance, smart mobility in cities and smart territories. It assists researchers and practitioners to devise more effective systems for managing and creating sustainable value.

My engagements as a speaker took me to several countries in the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. 

All speaking engagements for non-profit schools are free of charge. I charge a fee however to speak in private education and the corporate environment. I speak in English and Portuguese.
