🎁 Have you ever received a “gift” that felt more like a burden than a blessing? 🤔

That’s the origin of the term “white elephant.” 🐘✨

It comes from an old legend in Siam (modern-day Thailand 🇹🇭), where the king would gift rare white elephants to courtiers he disliked.

The animals were sacred 🙏 — they couldn’t be put to work — yet they were incredibly expensive to care for. 💰

So instead of honoring someone, the “gift” would quietly ruin them. 💔

Fast forward to today, and the idea lives on in white elephant gift exchanges 🎁🎉 — those fun (and sometimes awkward) holiday games where people swap quirky or unwanted items. 😂

But beyond the laughs, there’s a deeper lesson here:

Good dishes take time. You can’t rush them. Sometimes the best thing you can do is step back and let things develop, whether it’s a sauce… or a team. ⏳🔥

👉 Simplicity wins. 

The best meals aren’t the most complicated ones. They’re made with care, timing, and good ingredients. Same goes for business decisions. 🧂✨

👉 Customer satisfaction enjoys priority. 

I enjoy very much the moment when my kids eat everything in the end by showing empty plates. The satisfaction of VIP customers is paramount.

👉 Happy Wife, Happy Life. 

A happy partnership lays the foundation for harmony in life—and a little laughter goes a long way. Joy not only nurtures personal balance but also fuels sustainability and success in business.

In Europe, structure and reliability carry weight. A handshake means commitment. A deadline means exactly that. ⏰

Early in my career, I made the mistake of assuming what worked in one place would work everywhere.

It didn’t.

Emails went unanswered.

Deals went cold.

And I realized something I’ve never forgotten since then… success abroad starts with humility.

You can’t lead across cultures unless you first understand them.

Stretching across the Huajiang Grand Canyon in Guizhou Province, this engineering marvel now holds the title of the tallest bridge in the world…

Both vertically and horizontally. 🏗

Standing almost 2,000 feet above the valley floor, it connects not only two cliffs, but also people, communities, and dreams that once seemed impossible to reach. 🌄

From above, it feels like walking in the clouds. ☁

And if you’re brave enough… 💪

🤝 Why I Still Believe In #Handshakes?🤔

Of course, not everyone does anymore.

In a world of contracts, NDAs, and digital signatures, a simple handshake can feel… outdated. 💻✍️

But I’ve seen too much across boardrooms, factories, and continents to stop believing in it. 🌏

Here’s why:👇

In 2013, decades of negotiation finally ended between Vodafone and Verizon Communications.

Two giants. 🏢

It was a $130 billion merger. 

At the time, it was the third-largest deal in history. 💰

And yet… it didn’t close in a law office. ⚖️

It closed in a hotel lobby in San Francisco with two men shaking hands. 🤲 (It’s hard to believe with billions of dollars on the line.) 😮

No lawyers. No conference tables. Just trust. 🙏

It was the two men’s longstanding relationship, built over years of respect and reliability, that allowed them to finally move forward.

After all the wrangling, it came down to them looking each other in the eye and saying, “You have my word.” 👀🤝

That’s powerful. ⚡

Because in business (especially international business) paper might protect you, but trust propels you. 🌍

A contract can enforce terms.

But a handshake reveals character. 💡

I’m not saying skip the paperwork.

We still need structure, clarity, and compliance. 📄✅

But I am saying this: if a deal only stands because of the fine print… it probably won’t stand for long.

The best partnerships I’ve ever built — from Shanghai to São Paulo — were sealed with both:
a handshake and a promise that meant something. 🌐🤝

So yes, I still believe in handshakes.

Because long after the ink dries, what keeps the deal alive isn’t the paper…

It’s the people. ❤️

Now comes the follow-up, the factory visits, the late-night calls, the product evaluations — the quiet, steady grind that turns ideas into results. ⚙️

That’s where partnerships are tested.

Because walking the fair gives you inspiration…

But what you do after the fair defines your success. 🚀

When you walk the factory floor, you feel the heartbeat of production. 🏭
