I’m a serial entrepreneur and one of the most recognized SEO and content marketing experts in the CEE  region, with over 18 years of experience and more than 300 successful projects behind me.

I founded Fortis Agency, Croatia’s leading content marketing agency, and I was previously the co-founder of nPromote, a New York–based SEO agency.

Last Thursday, we hosted our very first Attendra workshop 💪

And honestly… It was a blast.

The topic: Building an online brand.
The speaker: The one and only Barbara Slade Jagodic. 

But Barbara didn’t just “give a lecture.”

She showed us exactly how she built her own brand, how she helps clients do the same, and she shared a ridiculous amount of examples, data, stats, and screenshots.

She even customized parts of the workshop and used examples from our own attendees, which made everything 10× more relevant.

As a marketer, I was really happy to see this. 

Plus, branding is kinda my favorite topic. 

Oh, and… we also had cake.
Because it was my birthday. 🥳
So yes, education wasn’t the only yummy thing. 

Overall, I’m very happy with how the first workshop turned out.

But I also realized a few things we need to improve on the organizational side.

For example, I thought 3 hours would be enough.
(It wasn’t.)

Between the lecture, examples, Q&A, discussions, and networking...

We definitely needed more time.

So from now on, Atendra workshops will probably be 4 hours.

Just to give everyone space to talk, ask, and go deeper.

One thing I absolutely loved was how interactive the group was.

People kept jumping in with comments, sharing experiences, asking questions.

It really felt like a two-way conversation.

And based on the feedback I got on the way out, people genuinely enjoyed it.

The room was fully packed, and for our first workshop ever, that means a lot.

We learned a ton about what to improve next time, how to streamline things, how to structure the flow… but for a first run, I’m really proud of what we pulled off.

We had to drop everything and evacuate ourselves.

Digital Marketing Consultant

Lately, I’ve been all over the place organizing in-person events.

But I have to admit something…

In the last few weeks, I’ve totally neglected LinkedIn.

Like… barely-posting, barely-engaging, just popping in to say “we have an event” kind of neglected.

Why?

Because I’m deep in the offline world right now.

We’re kickstarting Attendra, the new digital marketing school I’ve been building, and there are so many things happening at the same time:

✔️meetups, 
✔️workshops, 
✔️venue scouting, 
✔️podcast shooting,
✔️planning sessions, 
✔️…everything at once.

And naturally, while I’m running around & organizing things in real life, my online presence took a hit.

I’m feeling that struggle of balancing the online and offline worlds more than ever.

Both are equally important to me, but offline is currently in hyperdrive, and online has been pushed to the side.

Hopefully in a week or two, once the offline marathon slows down even a little, I’ll get back to posting more often, sharing what I’ve learned, commenting, interacting, and bringing some life back to my LinkedIn.

Because I really miss interacting with you all. 🫶

On the bright side:
 👉 We’ve already recorded 4 episodes of the new Attendra podcast
 👉 We kickstarted hosting live workshops
 👉 I’m putting together the event calendar for 2026 (it’s going to be packed)

So yes… I’m juggling a lot right now.

Trying to build a school program, organize events in multiple cities, run podcasts, and still somehow stay active here.

(My health took a hit too)
