Over the past few weeks I have gotten more inbound asking what people should do because of the government shutdown.

We have gone though this before but this one seems to have hit a nerve with more people than normal, and as of yesterday is now the longest one we have ever had. 

With that we went in and looked at how markets do during and after shutdowns and if there is any significance to it.

We looked at the SP500, US Treasury 10-Yr yields, Gold, USD-DXY Index, and Crude Oil.
