Hey, I'm Darius. 24 years old, born in Wittenberg, and living in Munich for almost eight years now.

I've been passionate about startups and entrepreneurship since I was 15, even though there wasn't much of either in my hometown.

After founding a student company, spending three years in an FMCG startup, working at an EdTech scale-up, and making a brief stop in consulting, I founded my first B2B SaaS startup, "Spreadly," in 2022, followed by the social startup "inGemeinschaft" in 2024. Both companies are steadily growing.

Since I've always enjoyed gaining practical experience and being actively engaged, I have served as a board member at Academy Consult, chairman of Gründungsmagnet, co-founded the Young Founders Network as a board member, and participated in various initiatives promoting young entrepreneurship and social mobility 🙌

Beyond these topics, I am also interested in technological progress and longevity.

Additionally, I have a strong passion for social interactions, love attending events, and enjoy meeting new people. This often leads to exciting synergies and new opportunities.

In my role as Startup Relations Manager at the leading scale-up consultancy "torq.partners," I get to pursue my passions while striving to create the greatest possible value for German startups and scale-ups every day 💯

Bootstrapping oder VC-Money?

Genau darüber haben wir am Donnerstag beim Kaminabend der Future Founders Initiative e.V. debattiert. Die Learnings waren eindeutig: 

Beides kann funktionieren. Entscheidend ist, welches Modell deine Vision möglich macht. VC-Funding beschleunigt dort, wo Speed entscheidend ist und dein Netzwerk aus Investoren kann ein bedeutender unfairere Vorteil sein. Die wenigsten Startups sind ein VC-case und die Aufnahme von externem Kapital sollte gut überlegt. Alternativ kann man bspw. auf öffentliche Förderungen oder EXIST setzen. (equity free) 
Wichtig: Gute Gründer entscheiden nicht ideologisch, sondern strategisch.

Alle fliegen zur SLUSH - ich gehe ins politische Berlin 🐻


Einmal im Jahr verlasse ich bewusst meine gewohnte Startup-Bubble und tauche in das politische Berlin ein.

Letzte Woche meinte ein renommierter Unternehmer zu mir:
„Zeitverschwendung. Zu langsam, zu wenige Veränderungen, zu viele Worte und zu wenig Taten.“

Vielleicht hat er recht.
Politik bewegt sich selten in dem Tempo, in dem Startups und Scaleups Innovationen umsetzen.


Trotzdem ist dieser Austausch für mich unverzichtbar. Denn wer gestalten will, muss beide Welten verstehen: Die Geschwindigkeit der Innovation – und die Realität der Rahmenbedingungen.

Der Dialog mit Ministern, erfahrenen Unternehmern und politischen Akteuren hilft mir, Entwicklungen früh zu erkennen, Impulse zu setzen und Brücken zwischen Wirtschaft, Technologie und Politik zu bauen.

Ich freue mich auf den Süddeutsche Zeitung - SZ Wirtschaftsgipfel 🙌

Nächste Woche habe ich im Rahmen einer Veranstaltung die seltene Möglichkeit, unserem Kanzler und mehreren BundesministerInnen Fragen zu stellen. Mit dabei sind u. a.:
