"Being an influencer" s*cks.
I was proposed to pay $2500 for a LinkedIn post collab...

One famous influencer messaged me:
- I was told you're a rising influencer, so I should collab with you.

I was like,
"Hmmm. His follower count is so big...that's interesting...maybe he liked my content?"

HAHA. 
SO NAIVE.

When I replied that it sounds interesting and asked what he had on his mind, he replied that I should check the brochure. 

$2500 per 1 collab post.
$6000 for 3 posts (preferred).

So...

It looks like the content here is transforming from something educational & helpful into "we don't care about our audience, we need more money."

You can earn money with brand partnerships.
You can earn money with your own courses/products.
You can earn money with referrals. 

But collabs?

It should be a free source for your audiences. 

People following specific influencers want to LEARN SOMETHING. Sometimes they want their two or more fav influencers to do something together just for fun, as it has a warm, uniting vibe. 

The way we all treat this platform defines its future.

Only commerce and money?
There is going to be another platform soon.

While I ask questions about WHY other people nominate me/think I am good at sales (self-esteem has to be improved, for sure), it's happening again and again.

I can't express how thankful I am for being recognized.

Me 11 years ago.
I was studying law and being told:

"Your lack of analytical skills will ruin your law career."

That was the truth.

I had an exam for logic (yes, we had it as a course, lol), and I almost failed it. All because I have a super creative (read: *non-structured*) mind. So it means I can generate tons of different ideas, but connecting the dots? Excuse me, haha.

Since that time (because I decided to never work as a lawyer), I have been completely honest with myself:

GIRL, YOU ARE SUPER BAD AT STRUCTURE-BASED ACTIVITIES. 

*(I probably have ADHD, but I've never been diagnosed with it.)

So, within the last 11 years, I've been super chaotic.

Now, in my routine, it looks like this:

1) go search for the account info
2) reply to a slack message within the next minute
3) go search for relevant leads inside that account
4) open a profile and forget about it because a DM reply comes in
5) remind myself I wanted to find relevant contact details for that person
6) saw a prospect I needed to convert, was online to send another follow-up
7) finally add a prospect into the sequence with cold calling first, Li second, and email third.

and I start the circle again...



Being that chaotic is making it harder to achieve my quota goals.

But you should know my secret.

I decided that this particular weakness I should replace with the tool. (SMART, agree ??)

I realized that having FullEnrich on my side with their new Search feature is a bombarda maxima spell for my chaotic & non-analytical mindset.

I just opened their Search, 
fill in
1/  "title"
2/  "company size"
3/  "If they joined within the last 90 days—YES."
4/  "HQ location"

BOOM

I have a list of people I need to reach out to with all the contact details in one click ("Enrich people"). So I can add them all in the sequence and call right away. And book some meetings, for sure.

If you think it's similar to Sales Nav, nooooo. 

Because Sales Navigator gives you the list of people without contact data, and you still need to go and enrich it as an additional step. For my brain, it sounds like "girl, it's your time to scroll the LinkedIn feed, haha."

I believe that being creative is something you still need to level up, but not structure. As tools like FullEnrich were made for reps to make their lives easier in terms of search & data. 

But outreach skills are still on you!

Multi-threading.
My rules? No rules.

Each org is different.

Sometimes I see titles and ask myself, "what does this person ACTUALLY do??" So it makes it impossible to apply universal rules of multi-threading to each account.

Instead, you should check if:


1) someone already knows about your product, aka past champions, and/or is following you on Linkedin.


2) you could educate someone lower with your product so they raise awareness internally.


3) you're the 1st-degree connection, which makes it easier to chat.


4) this person could potentially become your champion.


5) you could help someone with anything (even non-job-related).


6) you can build relationships (not selling at all).

Direct sales are old school.

Even If I go the way of direct sales, I always lose when it's a big account.

They just don't buy from step 1.

Big accounts require you to be strategic in the way you're winning them. 
Am I right?

Multi-threading be like...

New outbound channel (spoiler: it's meh)

I had a guy who shared 2 Loom videos with me only.

0 emails sent before.
0 calls made before.
0 DMs sent before.

He has built a strategy of sharing a video with my work email, so the only thing I see is coming from the Loom team with an SL: "X shared a Loom with you."

Yes, it's intriguing.

‼️ 
It's disrespectful.

‼️ 
It's misleading.

You think that someone from your team has created a video and shared it with you about product/strategy/company news, etc.

You never expect that a random guy wants to convert you the way he does.

So the logic is simple:
Avoid noise & make sure they open your email.

Which is cool (!)

But the way he did it...meh.

Look, I'm not an expert in outbound and can't predict its future, but what I think is that you still should follow the classic flow.

1) use one or several classic outbound channels
2) combine it with marketing help
3) use LinkedIn as a social selling instrument
4) think of making this person wow in a positive way 
5) add a 100% human touch, showing you care about this person

When you're going all-in for a WOW element, it could not work. 

Just like I felt about it...

I love the way you reached out to me.
But without a proper warm-up, it feels weird. 

What do you think?

No matter if you generated $300k+ pipeline, closed a 6-figure deal or booked 30 meetings. 

For your mom you’re the best.

I am against parallel dialers!!!

I am a strong believer in the importance of intentional outreach.

This is the reason I am all-in on human focus.

Via email.
Via LinkedIn.
Via cold calling.

When you use different tools for different channels, you lose momentum.
Instead of focusing on the time for a specific activity:

(1 h) searching for prospects.
(30 min) for enriching their contact data.
(1 h) writing personalized emails.
(1 h) cold calling session.
(1.5 h) sending LinkedIn messages + commenting.

Try to focus on specific people you reach out to!!!

Sending something in bulk will never work out in 2026.

YES, I THINK SO! 😁

Just because the people you are converting don't have a habit of replying to something templated anymore.

It's a new terminology called "outbound blindness."

So it's definitely worth going deeper on the human level: crafting a manual email, calling a specific person, mentioning something related to their recent post or About me section, and sending a customized image + video.

This way, your decision-maker understands you care about him/her. (Loved the recent post about it from Philipp. He shared his view on the LinkedIn messages he gets and how it stands out when you care about them first. You should read it!)

Just imagine there is a one-in-all tool giving you an opportunity to do so within one sequence, and there is no need to divide your time into specific activities.

Again, I am an advocate of intentional outreach when you go for (literally!!!) every prospect one by one and make it extremely personalized and relevant.

So yes, just think more of intentional outreach, using all channels together to boost results!

Cold calls are prevented with AI-assistants.

When you show that you did your homework:

- saw their podcast
- visited their webinar
- read their posts & comments (even commented!!)
- chatted with someone else from the org
- send an image you created specifically for them
- record a video specifically for them 

I have been talking about it since 2024, but now that Anthropic has shared its recent report on future jobs & AI, stating that 65% of sales roles will be replaced, I am more than sure my concept is true.

Your job will be replaced unless you show your human touch.

Start thinking about it.

Julia Carter shared an amazing post about her own experience, and this is something I can't ignore, too.

I am all-in to human way of outreach.

Showing your prospect that you are copying and pasting something that chatgpt generated based on your prompt is one way to do your job. But what if you can do your job even better?

What if you can:

- make your prospect smile
- make your prospect wow
- make your prospect feel proud
- make your prospect feel motivated 
- make your prospect feel impressed
- make your prospect feel empathetic 
- make your prospect feel good even for a moment

What if your message can make someone's day better rather than selling any sort of services/products?

This is my philosophy, and I can't stop talking about it.

We define the future of outbound sales. 

So this is why I usually send:

"Happy to be connected! Monday is always a tough day, so I am wishing you the best for this one and all tasks to be done quickly. 🙌"

It's not connecting the dots between sales & the person.

But this is connecting the dots between me being a good person & the other good person by default.

Now tell me I'm doing my outreach wrongly.

Cause I know you're against it! :)
