On International Men’s Day, I want to celebrate the men who shaped the emotional security I stand on today, at home and in my professional world.

I grew up with a present, loving, deeply involved father, the kind of man who listens, guides, and quietly anchors our family. 

Because of him, emotional safety isn’t a luxury for me; it’s the standard. 

He set the bar so high that it’s genuinely hard for anyone to impress me… because I’ve already witnessed the best of what a man can be.

He gave me the gift of knowing what respect feels like. Presence, stability, honesty, that’s the baseline I grew up with.

He’s also the first person I confess my blunders and “strategic mischief” to. 

Even when I’m about to sneak out, he knows before anyone else, mostly because his rule is beautifully simple: tell me where you’re going, so I know you’re safe.

And my brother? 
He treats me like a princess… except on the days he dethrones me and locks me in the sibling dungeon which is, of course, every sibling relationship ever.

But today, I also want to extend this appreciation beyond family.

In business, you have wins & failures.
I had a failure today.

I have been planning to launch a suite of Notion systems on Gumroad today.

I never made the date public but I wanted it to be today.

But since, I live in Pakistan and we have like a gazillion constraints here, I am still stuck in the technicalities.

That, makes me bitter sometimes.
I didn't ask to be in a 3rd world country. 
I cannot tell you the amount of times I wish I could just move abroad. 

I cannot make Stripe.
I cannot use PayPal.
I cannot use Wise.

These are few in the list of "things unavailable". 

I am trying to launch via Gumroad but it is having some sort of issues with my local bank & I cannot use any of the services above. 

(ahhh the wonders of life) 

This isn't a post to say "I give up". 
This is a post to say: "I will make the most of the hand I am dealt."

This is also for YOU. 
Be RESILIENT.

Everybody has problems. 
How you deal with them decides your future.
