5 years ago I took a leap of faith and absolutely love everything Ducks In A Row does to empower business owners.

The VA conference yesterday sparked so many ideas and reignited flames in my belly and I'm so glad I have booked an Air b n b next weekend to work on the business it couldn't have come at a better time 🩷

I'm a little off the grid this week because I'm taking time to nurture my soul in Italy with my lovely friend Jo.  We're staying at the fabulous Casa Trebbio owned by one of my lovely clients (check out www.woodfarmbarns.com) it's an absolute delight.

Today started with coffee and a new book in bed, a bit of sightseeing, cocktail and lunch (mocktail for Jo the designated driver!), lots of honking the horn around hair pin bends on the mountain(!!), painting on the terrace and a soak in the bath with a view...

Most importantly spending time with one of my favourite people 💕

I love not living a 9-5 life.

I've spent the week in Italy, and today had the pleasure of a strategy session with the enchanting Maddie from Mela Finds.

We have mapped out the steps Maddie needs to take before Christmas (just 10 weeks of sales left!)

We have also...

Talked about her first newsletter and the content to go in it..

Put a marketing plan together.

Talked about next summer and the long-term plans of the business, which we will revisit in the new year.

There have been ideas, realisations, and a whole heap of passion in the 2 hours in person strategy session.

We ended with a cocktail to 'cheers' 🥂 (Obvs! 🍹)

I love working with people like this, even on a Sunday 😉

I'm now on the train home knowing I prepped my roast dinner this morning. You could say I'm rather content....or should that be smug?!🤣
