★  Responsible for Human Resources, Leadership Development and Risk Management for a $18M organization with 1000 staff members and 10 locations.

★  Led assessments and developed recommendations for improvements in areas that included culture, staff structure, benefits, budgets, policies, and HR laws and regulations.

★ Debuted the first staff engagement survey in order to develop suitable human capital strategies to meet employee needs, and hosted town halls and recognition awards to increase engagement and morale.

★ Streamlined and improved the hiring process, adopting a software application the lowered the Time to Hire by an average of three days, and by instituting standard templates for Welcome resources and hiring manager communications.

★ Created an onboarding program with a goal of having new hires reach 100% productivity in the first 100 days.

★ Implemented new procedures, amended staff behaviors, and tracked metrics for safety, lowering the severity of Workman’s Compensation and claim payout by 66%.

VP of Leadership Development/HR

★  Oversaw four YMCA branches with a $4.7M group budget and authority over a team of Executive Directors.

★ Developed strategies to improve membership growth, staff engagement, program quality, facility management, finances, grant, and fundraising.

★ Facilitated staff growth opportunities that included Leadership Module Classes, a Professional Book Club, and key leadership meetings, as well as 10 regional training classes and 6 Train the Trainer classes that led to the certification of 106 staffers.
