That’s how it can look from afar.

But it doesn't have to be that way:

When companies join one of our leagues, we offer fully customisable Kappa kits.

(Think Barca 1997 😮‍💨)

Now, Digitas are one of London’s biggest agencies.
Some of the best designers in the world on their payroll.

So they turned the kit into a competition.

The entire company submitted designs.
And the football team chose the winner.

Suddenly, there's engagement across the entire company.

Colourways get debated.
Anticipation builds.

And people who don’t even play are invested.

The winning kit is 🤌

They ended up ordering 17.
For a 5-a-side team.

That’s when you realise it was never really about 5 players.

Not everyone needs to play to feel something.
I've seen it dozens of times over the years from the companies that get it.

It could be a kit vote, a match report emailed round the entire company or even a mention in the weekly standup.

It doesn't take much.
But done properly, it can galvanise company culture.

But a late pitch for adam&EveTBWA made them request a replay.

adam&EveTBWA are currently in the driver's seat.

A Desmond against Ogilvy UK means they lead by a point after new signing, Heber netted an equaliser at the death.

That TBWA merger is already paying dividends 🤝

But the question remains:
Can Paul Austin get them over the line?

They've never won the league.
But since Paul replaced Nick Wilkie at the helm, they've been stellar.

Unbeaten in 6.
On the brink of history. 

Avoid an L and they’ll seal it.

Then there's VCCP.

Defending champions.
They've seen it all. Won the lot.

Paraded trophies across London.

And if they win tonight, they'll jump Wieden + Kennedy as the most decorated team in the league's history. 

A draw won't do.
It’s a W or nothing.

The stage is set.
It’s going to be an absolute cracker under the lights. 

Both teams want to win. 
Both have a chance to make history. 

But only one will be victorious.
