And yet, it’s still often treated like “just posting”.

So yes, this post is a bit light-hearted.
But the underlying message isn’t.

Social media managers deserve:

✔️ realistic expectations
✔️ trust in their expertise

When a gardener walks through your garden and says

you nod and say thanks.

When a plumber tells you
“this pipe has to be replaced,”
you don’t argue. You trust the expertise.

But when a social media manager prepares content or proposes a campaign? 😏

Suddenly it’s:
“Could we tweak it a bit?”
“I think it would work better if…”
“My niece also does Instagram and she said…”

And I genuinely wonder: why?

Why hire a marketer…
and then tell them how to do marketing?

After 10 years in this field, I still don’t fully get it.

Expertise is expertise.
Even when it’s creative.

And strategy doesn’t become optional just because everyone uses social media.
