Force24 - Marketing Automation

In 2020, my remit expanded, and I was asked to take on the role of Sales Director where I managed four other Business Development Managers. This was in addition to still being an individual contributor for the year. 

I was also promoted to the Senior Leadership Team.

Being a hands on sales leader, my responsibilities included:

- Helping with proposal presentations
- Assisting in sales negotiations
- Aligning with Marketing to spearhead tactical lead generation activity
- Staffing trade exhibitions and demonstrations
- Helping to convert sales pipeline & funnel into commercial success

From January 2021, and post Series A investment, we embarked on a new journey. Our sales team was required to grow exponentially and quickly!

I recruited a Head of Inside Sales, 10 SDR's, and 3 AE's across eight weeks!

I now lead a Sales Team of 18 employees, which includes SDR's, AE's and Product Experts. 

My responsibilities have expanded to:

- Hire, nurture, coach and performance manage a team of world-class talent
- Set and execute an aggressive GTM strategy across the UK&I
- Align GTM teams (Sales, Marketing & Customer Success) to help to execute sales plan

Upon joining Force24 my remit was very clear, to generate and close as many new business opportunities as possible. 

I generated c20 new SQL's per month, utilising my social selling skills (Linkedin), cold emailing and cold calling. 

Across my time as an individual contributor, I helped the business acquire the likes of Lloyd Motor Group, Gullivers Theme Parks, Techbuyer, The Property Franchise Group, Hunters Estate Agents, Lead Forensics, Gravity Trampoline Parks, Allpay, Spicerhaart, iFly Indoor Skydiving, Welcome to Yorkshire and Fleetcor.

In 3 years as an individual contributor:

- Self-Generated c360 SQL's (Demos)
- Won over 80 new clients
- Self-Generated c £85k MRR 
- Self-Generated c. £400k in one-off revenue

Alongside a business partner, a different kind Marketing Agency was born.

We had one vision, and one vision only, to help marketing leaders in businesses realise the potential and power of embedding Marketing Automation into their strategies. We consulted, embedded and offered managed services to help UK businesses reap the rewards quickly.

Our first milestone was in becoming a reseller of the UK-Based Marketing Automation Platform, Force24.

My personal responsibilities including spearheading the new business arm of the business, where I regularly generated sales qualified leads utilising my social selling (Linkedin), cold calling and cold emailing skills.

In six months I generated some fantastic opportunities which included the likes of Kearys Group (Ireland), Holdcroft Motor Group, Project Solar UK, BMW Park Lane, Brackenwood, BMW UK and Vertu Motors.

From there, we were successful in acquiring five new Key Accounts, including the likes of Project Solar UK - the largest provider of solar energy in the UK. 

In just six months, we generated c £100k in revenue.

Despite short, it was very successful and from here we were acquired by Force24.

Upon joining Rhino Group I was tasked with acquiring new accounts in the early months, in particular within the Automotive Industry where I already had lots of experience. 

In my first six months at Rhino Group, I acquired over 15 new key accounts, including the likes of Trust Group, Wilson & Co, Stephen James Group, Fish Brothers and Ancaster Group.

Across these accounts I helped to generate c£250k in revenue in 12 months, which ranged across Social Media Advertising, Email Marketing, Print, Events, SEO & PPC, Website Design. 

After the first six months I was also handed the responsibility of Rhino Group's largest revenue generating account, Halliwell Jones, where I regularly helped to increase the revenue.

My responsibilities also included directing these accounts where I had the assistance of two Account Executives who handled the day-to-day tasks.
