I got a painting commissioned in Austin!

I was walking on South Congress and stopped by an art piece.

I'm not sure how many people know about Dragon Ball Z. 

But it was Vegeta sitting in a forest meditating.

I loved it, but I wanted the art piece done with Goku.

So I asked the artist if he could make me one with Goku before I left.

I got lucky! 

He doesn't usually do paintings, but they were raising money for a charity and could do it if I donated.

I was in! Commissioned on Saturday, got it by Thursday.

It’s one thing to be called a super connector and another to get the chance to speak on a panel around the topic.

The question Selena asked me was, “ As a super connector, you know a lot of people; how do you figure out who to add to your network and spend time with?”

I don’t think many people actively think about how they “filter” people when they meet them.

I’ve got a few frameworks that I use when deciding how much time to spend with someone. 

But that is for another post.
