I currently serve as CEO after having previously been COO and Head of our Fractional CFO practice. Over the past 7 years, I've supported dozens of high-growth startups as a Fractional CFO & helped them raise over $700M in capital. In my current role, I am responsible for executing on our company's vision of becoming a best-in-class partner to hundreds of the world's top startups, as well as a premier workplace for talented, startup-minded professionals.

I dusted off an old MacBook Pro last weekend and installed Clawdbot. The objective: create an AI assistant I could delegate to via iMessage. 
🤯 What happened next was truly incredible:

- Clawdbot started processing & responding to old text messages I received back in 2022
- Clawdbot realized what was happening, but it wasn't able to disable itself, so it started frantically sending messages telling me to run a system reset
- Then it started randomly sending these cries for help to contacts in my phone 💀

Moral of the story: Clawdbot is such a hot topic because it's a glimpse into the future of agents. But it is incredibly raw as a product. 

I'm excited to one day have an AI personal assistant that actually works, but based on its current state & the competitive landscape, there's a very slim chance Clawdbot is going to be the product that solves this.

You can safely tune out the people shouting about how this revolutionized their business/life, they are probably just trying to sell you AI consulting services.

On Monday I hosted a 'Practical Vibecoding' workshop with 6 of my most Claude-curious friends. After ~2 hours, each of them had deployed their own working web application. A few examples of their masterpieces:

📚️ After his previous bookshelf app was shut down, Eric Knight Hornung built his own app for tracking/tagging/rating books
💧 Christopher Doyle built a cold plunge tracker, complete with NSFW motivational messages
🧠 Matt Chimes created a flashcard app for teaching little Calvin colors, shapes & Ohio State football players (start 'em young!)
🎂 A couple used my demo specs to build a v1 of HBD, an app for storing friends' birthdays & creating fun birthday cards Zachary Rollins, CFA Roseann Zhong
🙃 One friend got blocked by his company's firewall so he just sat their diligently taking notes Jeff Catlin 

None of these people are 'developers', but with Claude Code anyone can build a real, live application that they can use to make their lives 1% better. I had a ton of fun running this workshop & kickstarting my friends' vibecoding journeys.

One of my biggest 2026 goals: do as much work as possible that is 'un-LLM-able'.

It's so tempting to pump out content at scale using LLMs, but every time I read through a piece I created with a heavy dose of AI assistance, something feels off. I think it's because the output doesn't reflect my unique perspective - it could've been created by anyone with a prompt.

At airCFO, we're ramping up content creation this year, and we've started asking this question in every content meeting: "What can we create that someone couldn't get out of ChatGPT?"

The types of content that pass through this filter are going to take more work but I am confident they'll stand the test of time much better than AI-generated fluff.

I'm super interested in how people are leveraging AI within their writing processes while still maintaining a core of human-ness - let me know if you're using a workflow that works well for you 🧠
