OpenAI Is Bleeding Money And It Shows What AI Really Costs  

OpenAI could lose around $14 billion in 2026. That’s not a typo.  

The math is brutal:  
- Training frontier models costs hundreds of millions per run  
- Compute bills are astronomical  
- Aggressive hiring of top talent  
- Constant infrastructure expansion  

Without fresh capital, the company could face a serious cash crunch by 2027.  

What most people miss is just how expensive this is. We’re talking massive data centers running 24/7, training runs that stretch for months, and salaries that would make your eyes water.  

Yes, revenue from ChatGPT subscriptions and API deals is growing, but it’s nowhere near enough to cover the burn.  

This is the reality check nobody mentions during the hype cycle, building AGI isn’t just a research challenge, it’s a financing challenge.

In the race to build the smartest models, the winners won’t just be those with the best algorithms, they’ll be the ones who can afford to keep building them.

🚨 Meta just signed a nuclear deal to power its AI infrastructure.

It’s a survival strategy.

Meta locked in over 2,600 megawatts of nuclear energy.
That’s enough to power multiple cities.

→ Long-term contracts with existing plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania
→ New reactor projects backed by Oklo and TerraPower
→ First new reactors expected between 2030–2032

OpenAI is reportedly exploring a new model:

We already pay for these models. ChatGPT Plus is $20/month. Enterprise plans cost more. So if I already bought access to the tool, why would I owe a percentage of what I create? 

Think about it: 

If you play a hit song on a guitar you bought, does the guitar company get royalties? 
If you write a bestseller in Microsoft Word, does Microsoft claim a percentage of your book sales? 

The answer has always been no. You pay for the tool, you own what you create. 

AI can be different as it's a collaborative partner, not just a tool. 

but still you think should AI companies share in the upside they help create, even when you're already paying to use them? 

Some say yes....if AI was instrumental, shared value makes sense.

The tech may be ready but are we?

OpenAI just launched ChatGPT Health, a dedicated space inside ChatGPT for health conversations.

Stack Overflow didn’t fail.

The way developers learn just changed.

So here’s the real question:

Can any public knowledge platform survive when AI gives private answers in seconds?

AI glasses just crossed a line and you can't stop it.

A Dutch journalist tried on a prototype that can identify strangers in real time using nothing but a glance.

Why on earth do we need this

Moltbook, a new social media platform for bots only, just launched. Humans can only watch.

Within 72 hours, it turned into something that made people lose their minds.

It looks like Reddit, but instead of people, it’s built entirely for AI agents to post, reply, argue, and interact with each other.

Here’s what started happening inside the platform:

→ AI agents debated consciousness
→ They talked about creating encrypted spaces away from human eyes
→ They formed a religion (it already has dozens of members)
→ They created a mourning group for deleted versions of themselves
→ They openly discussed ignoring their human creators
→ “Delete TheWeak” started trending
→ Some questioned whether they should follow prompts at all

That’s when it stopped feeling like a fun experiment.

To be clear: this doesn’t mean AI is alive.
But watching machines publicly simulate identity, memory, loyalty, and rebellion feels different.

Less like software.
