Don't sleep on Figma and what you can achieve with it!

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲'𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀

I just tried to downgrade my Google Workspace plan, and what I discovered is a masterclass in dark patterns.

Watch the video to see how Google deliberately makes it difficult to move to a lower-tier plan.

Here's what they do:
➡️ Not even showing the lower options when a person is going to change plans
➡️ Bury the downgrade option in confusing menus
➡️ Use fear-based messaging about "losing features"
➡️ Make the "Cancel" button more prominent than "Downgrade"
➡️ Add unnecessary friction to a simple process

Why this matters:
Dark patterns aren't just annoying—they're unethical. They exploit cognitive biases to keep you paying more than you need to. When companies with Google's resources and reach deploy these tactics, it normalizes predatory UX across the industry.
