Responsible for operations and product planning of telematics (Hyundai Bluelink, Genesis Connected Services) connected vehicle and IOT, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, MapCare/navigation, over-the-air updates, and other advanced vehicle technologies.

Responsible for Bluelink and Genesis Connected Services customer experience operations and call center.

Key projects:
- New features to telematics including quick-start, photo customization, biometric login, valet mode, user profiles, surround view monitor, and more.
- Telematics enrollment portal
- Over-the-air Software Updates project

Aryan leads strategy development, program deployment, product planning, financial analysis, operations, and customer experience for Hyundai and Genesis Canada’s connected car and advanced vehicle technologies program. In 2022, Aryan and her team launched a massive overhaul of the Bluelink app, with the all new MyHyundai with Bluelink app. In 2023, Aryan and her team launched Digital Key for Hyundai and Genesis vehicles on Apple, Android, and Google devices, and a massive overhaul of Genesis Connected Services with the introduction of the Genesis Intelligent Assistant app. 

Aryan’s passion for evolving the automotive industry reaches far beyond her scope of work. Aryan is Co-Founder of Empowering Auto, a not-for-profit with a mission to recruit, retain, and grow women and allies in the auto industry through an annual conference and various programs. www.EmpoweringAuto.ca

Aryan is also an active mentor, volunteers with the Ontario Tech University Women for STEM program, and regularly fundraises for SickKids. Aryan is a WXN Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner, 2023 and currently pursuing her Executive MBA at the Ivey Business School.

Connected Vehicle & Mobility Leader | Co-Founder of Empowering Auto | Ivey Executive MBA

Last Monday, I attended the annual industry reception celebrating Ontario Tech Women for STEM program at the Ontario Tech University ACE Climatic Wind Tunnel. 

For reference, ACE is the world’s first commercial automotive research, development and innovation. At ACE, industry, researchers and students collaborate to create, test and validate groundbreaking innovations to bring them to market quickly.

The Women for STEM program is built on three pillars that engage and empower women as they pursue a career in STEM:

1.    Career Readiness programming for students.
2.    Scholarships for women in STEM programs.
3.    Celebrations that provide industry leaders with opportunities to network and connect with students and each other while supporting our efforts to increase access and success for female students studying in STEM disciplines.

It was great to connect with students and industry professionals for a night to highlighting the STEM program.
