The mathematical formula for greatness is embarrassingly simple:

(I call it The 2% Rule)

I learned this from Roger Federer of all people.

Many consider Roger to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time.

No surprise…

The guy won 20 Grand Slams and 83% of the matches he played over the course of his career.

But here’s the crazy thing most people don’t realize…

If you were to zoom in on any one of the matches he played, you’d discover something pretty insane…

He actually only ever won ~51% of the points played.

(54% more precisely, but that doesn't change the 2% rule)

That means nearly half the time… he actually lost the point.

But it didn’t matter…

Because while he was winning 51% of points…
Whereas his opponents were only winning 49% of the points.

That’s only a 2% difference.

And in that 2% difference you’ll discover the secret mathematical formula for success.

All you need to do to get ahead in the game of business (and life) is win slightly more often than you lose on a day-by-day basis.

Might not seem like much, but if you can win just 51% of the time…

You’ll slowly but surely compound the gains and start to pull ahead.

It’s upon this very principle that the $300,000,000 casino industry thrives.

Hell, just look at Blackjack.

With optimal play, the house’s edge is only ever between 0.5-1%.

That’s practically nothing…
And yet, in the end…
It’s EVERYTHING.

So ya see… the line between good and great is nothing more than 2%.

I don’t know about you, but I find this incredibly empowering.

You don't need to win 90% of the time.
You don't even need to win 70% of the time.

You just need to win slightly more than you lose.

And if you can compound that tiny edge over a lifetime...

You become unstoppable.

mathematical formula for greatness

Most people are trapped in lives of quiet mediocrity.

Not because they lack ability, but because they skip these 3 simple steps:

It's not magic.
It's not "The Secret".
It's not screaming affirmations into the mirror.

It's simple. Not easy.

Step 1: Know What You Want

Seems obvious, but you'd be surprised how few people can actually articulate their dreams.

Listen...

You can't hit the target you can't see.

So write down what you want...
Describe it vividly...
Be specific down to how it smells... the sounds... the emotions of the scene.

Step 2: Relive the Dream Daily

Don't just write your goals down once and forget them like 97% of people.

Wrire them down EVERY SINGLE DAY by hand.

Keep them on your phone.
On your wallpaper.
On your wall.
In your pocket.

Keep your goals EVERYWHERE.

The more you look, the more you'll see.
The more you see, the more likely you are to FIND.

Step 3: Do The Damn Work

A million dollar idea is worthless without a million dollars worth of execution.

You have to act because at the end of the day the universe doesn't care what you intend to do...

It only cares what you ACTUALLY do.

So get clear about what it is you want, create a system to keep that goal pinned to the front of your mind, and then execute every single day...

Do this on a long enough timeframe and I promise, you will win.
Eventually.
