Pharmaceutical grade chewing gum with vitamins. Aimed at the cold pressed juice demographic, we secured development with Wriggly's of our chewing gum, move ahead with prototyping and got to a product we loved. Unfortunately my Co-Founder wouldn't move forward with the business.

At 18 I worked at Ernst & Young full-time, and studied at university part-time. Amazing experience going into the corporate world that young.

I finished uni and went to London (to chase a girl if I’m honest). It didn’t hurt that I loved finance, London was great for it and I had the passport. 

I got onto the CEO track at HSBC where I excelled and by 25 I was earning £300k per year. 

Meanwhile, Lucy (my wife) could go full time on Bare Kind, roll the dice for us and we got luckier and luckier (funny how hard work over time will do that). 

We saved hard and got to the point where our investment pot + our entrepreneur-sized salary (read meagre!) was greater than our bills and I took the leap with Lucy in BK.

Since 2017 we’ve been saving animals by selling socks. We got lucky (again), nailed Faire the B2B marketplace and became the largest sock brand in the UK on the platform. 

Taking what we learned at BK, we started Candid Founders to help other businesses win their Category on Faire.

Now with the number 1 sock brand in the UK we are going global through distributors and are looking for more. When we aren't busy with the sock business you can find us posting about Candid Founders on YouTube.

We've worked incredibly hard this year on our cash cycle by utilising pre-sales for our Christmas order and really growing our International Distribution (we have covered New Zealand, Canada, Europe, China, Taiwan, West Coast USA and are still looking for more) 

% of Stock Cash costs covered by resales: 45%. Huge. 

% of Socks sold from the order: 9%. Massive, especially when you consider how many thousands of socks we order per SKU. 

Great work to my sister in law Bethany Jeffrey who has done this alongside our amazing team. 

Socks came in on Friday and were out the door Monday, thank you Sprint Logistics

A(nother) win for us as we expand into Canada with THE CRF Agency

Cody, Christine and team already represent incredible brands such as Calvin Klien, Tommy Hilfiger, Reef and more. Even to be in the same breath as them feels ridiculous to say. 

We launch Wednesday(tomorrow!) and will be at a flock of shows over even just the next 3 months. 

Been a huge focus for us with Stephen Laundy over these past 2 months and is revolutionising our business.

Our search for world wide coverage continues! 

Our recent NZ distributor has taken us on wholesale, D2C and are now making product. 

Our west coast US partners are agents. 

Our European countries are covered by a pure play distributor.
