I’m a senior content designer, user experience (UX) content strategist, UX writer, and product writer with more than 7 years of experience in creating clear, helpful content for digital products.

I’ve worked across B2B, B2C, e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, and UCaaS, helping teams throughout the world design and build experiences that are easy to use and aligned with business goals.

I’ve led content efforts that improved user engagement, supported product launches, integrated AI into workflows, and delivered measurable results, including millions of dollars in revenue impact.

Whether it’s writing microcopy and support articles, building instructional videos, improving onboarding experiences, or shaping content strategy, I focus on solving problems with language that works.

I’m experienced in working closely with product designers, product managers, UX researchers, engineers, and product marketers to create thoughtful, accessible content that scales.

Regardless of the situation, I never lose sight of the ultimate goal: helping current and prospective customers become the heroes of their journey.

If you’d like to know a bit more about me…

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to write. But I thought my words would be about athletes instead of actions within a user interface, football instead of flows within a digital experience. In 2018, I transitioned to content design after nearly a decade in sports journalism. Today, I love life in the Atlanta area. I'm always down to travel, hike, and enjoy great food and wine.

Familiar places: ☀️

You can always go back.

I visited Tampa over the weekend. I lived there from 2013 to 2016. 

Quite a few events happened in the region that made me the person I am today. 

There, I experienced my first layoff. I tried to change careers for the first time … and failed. I navigated the choppy waters of the freelance life for a year.

The city is an important chapter in my story. Whenever I return, I try to remember the person I was a decade ago.

That can be hard, right?

Life moves fast, even if we don’t feel it. Sometimes, we leave for a different location. People go in and out of our lives. Responsibilities evolve. 

We change, day by day. So does the world. 

That’s my largest takeaway whenever I visit a place where I used to live. The experience is like chasing ghosts. 

It’s humbling to look back and recognize we’re not the same as that younger version of ourselves that still exists somewhere inside us. 

We’re in constant motion. Choices we make lead to new paths. Other paths are abandoned and reduced to memories.

Those outcomes can come with mixed feelings. I’ve learned that’s life. 

Yes, we can always go back to familiar places. It’s fun to capture some of the youthful energy we once had, even if we know it’s temporary. 

But our progress is worth recognizing, too. 

We’re always moving ahead, somewhere, with a chance to add to our story.

Recharging after a busy week: 🪫

How do you recover?

In my most recent open chat, Abby Hancharik asked me to name my go-to way to recharge after a busy week.

I wish I had a single answer for this, but I’ve turned to a number of things. 

I’ve enjoyed grilling, hiking, eating, and playing video games—to name a few. In times when I really need to clear my mind, I take long drives and listen to music. I also like spa visits, but those can be expensive 😅

Getting away from my laptop or phone is the common denominator in all of those activities. It’s important to break away from our screens when we can. (Of course, that can be easier said than done.)

A complicated relationship with coffee: ☕️

Do you relate?

The more I work in an office, the more I’ve learned that I need to pace myself with my coffee intake. 

It’s tempting to drink 3 or more cups with an espresso bar and other coffee options nearby. Problem is, I arrive for work after finishing a large cup during my commute. 

In recent months, I’ve enjoyed our Bevi machine. (Arctic Bliss for the win!) I’ve also dabbled with iced and hot tea.

My answer made me wonder whether most of us have consistent go-to activities for this or whether our answers can vary based on our mood or other factors. I’d love to read more answers if you’d like to share. 

🌟 I spent the weekend in Tampa. Trips there always bring back good memories. I lived in Florida for 3 years in my late 20s. I’m far enough away from leaving—I moved to Atlanta in 2016—where so much of Tampa looks and feels different now. It’s impressive to witness how much cities can change if ambition and support are dedicated to improving the quality of life in a number of areas. Do any examples of this stand out to you? 

🌟 Here are things I do in Florida that I don’t do anywhere else, ranked: 1. Eat grouper sandwiches (blackened is the way), 2. Act unfazed when I see an alligator or a crocodile, 3. Watch hockey.
