After years of helping healthcare organizations select software and grow their practices, our team has developed a proven-methodology. This methodology is centered around the fact that every organization is different in its processes and needs when it comes to technology and marketing. Even among the same specialty, the needs are different. That’s why our methodology starts with fully evaluating your practice to determine how we can pair the things that make your practice unique with current technology and marketing options to take your practice to the next level.

President and CEO of start-up firm focused on marketing, selling, and implementing software technology to medical providers, clinics, outpatient surgery centers, and hospitals in the mid-South region. We grew to become one of the largest resellers in the country for Millbrook/Centricity. Our focus was on practice management and provider scheduling, outpatient surgery center management, electronic medical records, document management, voice recognition dictation/transcription, and systems for ambulatory care. Managed our team and each phase of communicating, marketing, selling, implementing, training, and providing ongoing support. I eventually sold my client base to a larger reseller.

Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care

Executive Director for HITArkansas, the Regional Extension Center for the state of Arkansas for the Office of the National Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  Primarily responsible for recruiting 1,280 primary care physicians/providers into this program to meet the terms of the organization’s federal grant. In the first two years of the grant, roughly 600 providers had been recruited. Lead, supervise, and mentor a 15 member team that exceeded our yearly goals in seven months. Other responsibilities included management and training of consultant staff.  Their role was to help these newly recruited medical providers achieve “meaningful use” through the adoption and use of an EHR (electronic health records). I dealt with all facets of the program, including recruitment of providers, marketing strategy, implementation, oversight of services, assistance to help providers reach “meaningful use,” and development of sustainable business models.

Responsible for marketing and sales of the Greenway medical software suite of products for Arkansas, Oklahoma, northern Louisiana, and southern Missouri. Products included: electronic health records, practice management, clinical research, revenue cycle management, HIE product, mobile, and speech.

Responsible for preparing, implementing, and overseeing the sales and marketing plan for the medical industry for the Little Rock, Arkansas, IBM branch territory. I was co-owned by IBM and an IBM business partner.  The main solutions marketed and sold were practice management and scheduling software on the IBM 3X family of products, along with training and support. This included the hardware focus on the IBM system 36 and the IBM AS/400 along with PCs, peripherals, communications, and system software. Also responsible for seminars and trade shows on a quarterly basis. I made the Presidents Club 90-91.

Understatement - I love music!

Music has been the soundtrack of my life — from my mom singing to me as a child, to singing in church, to hearing Elton John crackle through my first transistor radio in the early seventies. It's carried me through years of playing in the band, traveling with choirs, singing w bands 

and singing to my own children and grandchildren.

Every now and then, life hands you a moment you never saw coming.

My dear friend Brooks, who oversaw performances at the University of Central Arkansas, called me one day and said, "Don McLean is going to be at the Pickin' Porch. Grab ‘little Ancil’ and get out here."

So we did. Ancil IV was taking guitar lessons at the time, and we arrived early, soaking in the atmosphere of that front porch, snapping a few pictures. 

Then Don McLean and his band walked in. They greeted everyone warmly, and then — just like that — Don said, "Hey, let's play a set." They grabbed instruments right off the wall, tuned up, and played an entire concert set list right there. No stage. No spotlight. Just pure music.

Wow!

I was standing five feet away.

One of the photos from that day — little Ancil with Don McLean — ended up on the front page of our local paper.

That moment wouldn't have happened without my buddy Brooks. He knew what music meant to me, and he made sure I was there. Brooks has since gone to be with the Lord, but his friendship left fingerprints all over some of the best moments of my life.

This picture is more than a photo with a music legend. It's a reminder that the richest moments in life come through the people who know us, love us, and think of us when something special comes along.

Grateful for the music. Grateful for the memories. Grateful for friends like Brooks Walthall.

They make us rich.
