I managed the measurement and optimisation of the insurance products user journeys for a series of top UK banks. I worked with the user experience and the development teams to deliver new tracking and optimisation solutions using the agile process.

I worked as an optimisation lead for the Post Office account. I was responsible for improving conversion rates for products and services ranging from credit cards and mortgages to insurance. I managed the experimentation roadmap, building on each experiment and prioritising testing to maximise ROI. 

I liaised with three key client contacts, adjusting communication style and format of deliverables accordingly and I also instructed designers and developers to successfully deliver multiple experiments at any one time, in a timely manner.

I performed detailed, customer-centric and data-focused research for a number of financial products. My research generated new and innovative hypotheses, often rooted in not just UX but also wider value proposition concepts.

I provided insights that uncovered new information about user profile and journey. The dashboard I created can now be user to improve the targeting of their advertising and uncover key friction points to increase conversion rates faster.

Specifically, this is how I achieved it:
- I performed a full GTM and GA audit and optimised tracking set up for improved data collection and accuracy.
- I visualised website KPIs and user journey over time using Data Studio. I created an interactive and automated dashboard with multiple data sources. It showcased key insights for a variety of stakeholder types.
- I developed an experiment testing framework and run tests that helped understand user motivation.

As an SEO and web analytics all-rounder, I provided direction and support to 22 European country offices on how to improve their websites' performance. I regularly worked with developers, product marketing managers and external agencies. This was to deliver projects that provide insight on how website visitors behave online and then take actions to meet our digital KPIs. This included technical SEO improvements, website architecture reviews and improving user journeys.

I also regularly developed and delivered training in SEO and Google Analytics. I trained over 300 people across Europe.

I regularly created easy-to-read reports using Google Data Studio and implemented tagging for extra tracking using google Tag Manager.

I developed and implemented digital marketing strategy based on: on-page SEO, content marketing, link building, social media management, email marketing and PPC – utilising the website as the main marketing tool.
