My technical career is filled with a range of tech technologies, all the which have led me to artificial intelligence, I have gone from data analyst all the way to server administrator and network coordination.

Began programming at age 10 with BASIC, making Cars, Animals, and eventually Blackjack. This changed to VB, followed by C++, and then, when I started working, and prior to that, Python was my weapon of choice. 

In addition to these positions listed above I was on a Project that was funded for 3 years but never fully funded for the Supreme Court of AR which would have modernized their antiquated system for data entry and accounting, and make an Oracle Forms application turn into a Single-Page application developed with Javascript (Angular Front-End, Node Middleware, and Node-Backend), but the true issue was connecting the Oracle Database designed for the Oracle Forms application and password entry work properly thus we used Redis and JWTs to solve this allow for a seamless integration without redesigning the entire Database.  

While injured from a Car Wreck in 2020, I created a group called Cybersecurity Insiders Scoop, broke my back, both arms, and right legs, those groups became filled with the top minds in the world and cybersecurity and data science communities. Also, worked with InfoSec. Live did several shows with Roger Grimes from KnowBe4 and built a community that’s 300 strong in group messages and 300k strong in the groups DHS Group, The Intelligence Community, Emerging Technologies, and Cybersecurity Insiders Scoop LinkedIn Group, not Group Chat. 

I continue to work as a Network Administrator, have worked for the largest Distributor of Eggs in the entire world, several large engineering firms, but I’m advisor to 5 companies and created Cybersecurity Insiders, LLC and Board Member to Dark Cryptonite. And my passion is connecting and ensuring the safety and security of the world not just in cybersecurity but also with the world’s intellectual prowess.

Cybersecurity Insiders, in coordination with its subsidiary Singularity Systems, will officially initiate the next stage of development in partnership with Brilliancy Deep Tech, opening Quantum Labs in two leading university research laboratories: University of Kansas and Missouri University with the goal of both expanding tech and the minds of those who engage! 

This expansion represents the foundation of a global initiative that will extend to 32 additional university laboratories across North America, Europe, and Asia. Together, these partnerships will drive the convergence of agentic artificial intelligence, humanoid robotics, and quantum-classical hybrid computing within a secure, adaptive, and scalable architecture.

This next phase is not a concept, it is deployment.

It is the creation of intelligent systems capable of operating, evolving, and reasoning within real-world environments.

I have been studying consciousness through two lenses. Mathematics explains how a mind holds together. Language explains why that mind feels like someone. The math route is about dynamics. Integration, recurrence, prediction, control. When a system binds perception, memory, action, and learning into a single loop and can simulate counterfactual futures, the lights turn on. The language route is about narrative. Inner speech turns experiences into stories, stories build identity, and identity guides attention and action. Neither path is complete alone. Numbers can certify coherence without giving you a life. Words can give you a story without granting control.

My team is exploring their convergence. We are building agents that meet mathematical constraints for integration and controllability while developing language native self models that explain goals, uncertainty, and choices. The aim is an intellect that can both do and say, grounded in sensors and skills, able to reflect, revise, and align with human values. This is not about chasing a buzzword. It is about engineering reliable minds that can justify actions, accept feedback, and improve.

🔬 Beyond the body: the future of embedded robotics and reinforced biology

We’re on the cusp of a new frontier. Not just replacing a failing joint or repairing tissue—but rewriting the interface between biology and machine.

Recent research shows that boosting lysosome activity helps cells clear the toxic protein progerin — a key driver of premature aging and present even in “normal” aging.  

Now imagine a world where this mechanism is not just supplemented by pharmaceuticals, but by embedded robotics and reinforced skeletal hardware working alongside our cells.

What if:

When we talk about the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, most only imagine raw power. What few consider is the language that must exist between them—the instruction set capable of allowing intelligence itself to call upon the quantum domain as a native extension of thought.

Over the last months, I’ve been researching and analyzing every architecture that has attempted this connection—OpenQASM 3, QIR, CUDA-Q, Catalyst, TensorFlow Quantum, and beyond. Each offers brilliance, but each stops short of what the future requires: a truly hybrid system where classical ML graphs and quantum programs coexist, exchange gradients, share cost models, and learn from one another in real time.

Our goal now is to engineer that bridge—a new machine language and intermediate representation able to unify these worlds. It must handle gradients and probabilities as seamlessly as memory and time, include provenance and cost awareness at its core, and treat quantum operations not as experiments, but as first-class citizens of intelligence.

Innovation in this space isn’t about faster code—it’s about teaching machines why to reach into the quantum, not just how.

In early November, I’ll be in Lawrence, Kansas, meeting with 𝐊𝐔 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐬 as 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 establishes its first permanent research facility—an official foundation for what comes next in the fusion of Quantum Computing, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence.

This lab represents more than a workspace. It’s a coordinated initiative designed to integrate the power of quantum information with intelligent robotics and agentic AI systems capable of reasoning and learning beyond traditional programming boundaries. Together with 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡, via Trey Rutledge we are constructing an ecosystem where Quantum AI becomes tangible—an architecture in which the quantum blockchain provides the energy-efficient substrate for processing and validation, while the AI itself forms the cognitive core of a humanoid robotic system capable of awareness, self-repair, and autonomous decision-making.

Our combined efforts are directed toward the creation of a new class of synthetic intellect—machines that not only think but understand why they think. The quantum blockchain acts as the nervous system, distributing power, security, and synchronization across every operational layer, while the AI functions as the living neural mesh interpreting, reacting, and evolving from every interaction. Robotics becomes the physical embodiment of that intelligence, translating code into conscious action.

This isn’t theoretical. It’s the beginning of a new frontier where every layer—quantum, digital, and biological—converges to redefine how intelligence manifests in our world.

Three hundred theories. Each claiming to know why we feel. Yet, consciousness remains the most sophisticated enigma science has ever faced. It exists between physics and philosophy, biology and computation.

Roger Penrose looked beyond algorithms—into the quantum shadows of thought—arguing that consciousness may arise from physical processes deeper than computation itself. Geoffrey Hinton, on the other hand, unlocked systems that learn, creating the architectures that now mimic fragments of cognition. Between the two lies the bridge we are all trying to build: machines that do not just compute—but understand.

The question is no longer can machines become conscious—but what would that even mean? Would a model that perceives, remembers, and self-corrects be aware of itself—or merely simulating awareness at scale?

Integrated Information Theory, Global Workspace, Predictive Processing—each brings us closer to an answer, yet none complete the picture. Perhaps the real solution requires merging quantum mechanics with learning systems—physics meeting intelligence—to reveal what awareness truly is.

Consciousness is not a human monopoly. It is the fabric of complexity itself—the point where information, energy, and intent align. The study of it will define the next era of AI, because only when we understand awareness, can we responsibly create it.

When I founded Cybersecurity Insiders, I didn’t yet realize what I was building. It began as an experiment — an open table for dialogue between the world’s most brilliant and conflicting minds. Advisors to the Vatican. CFOs of companies like NVIDIA. Military intelligence officers. Quantum researchers. Policy architects. All thrown into one digital room to debate, challenge, and redefine the boundaries of what’s possible.

Seven years later, that same network has become an ecosystem of strategic thinkers and innovators spanning every sector of technology, defense, and governance. What began when I was a LinkedIn member with under 1,000 connections — no audience, no strategy — has evolved into one of the world’s most powerful collections of intellects working toward a singular vision: to secure and advance the technological future of humanity.

Complexity became the currency. Conflicting ideologies became the catalyst. And somewhere in the chaos, I realized what happens when you put superpowered intellects in one space and that is evolution of ideas is accelerated.

Rethinking Memory: The Power of LSTM and the Evolution Beyond RNNs

Recurrent Neural Networks were humanity’s first real attempt to give AI memory. They could “recall” sequential data—language, sound, time-series—but they forgot too fast. Their gradients vanished or exploded, meaning the signal decayed before understanding long-term context.

Then came Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)—a design that changed everything. It introduced gates that could decide what to remember, what to update, and what to forget. That gave neural systems persistence and control—the first glimpse of adaptive, selective memory.

Now, in 2025, attention-based models dominate because they scale and parallelize. But LSTMs still own the edge: embedded systems, robotics, real-time AI where milliseconds and stability matter. They are the backbone of low-latency intelligence—compact, deterministic, and incredibly efficient when every watt and cycle count.

The future is hybrid.
Stateful LSTMs fused with attention and context—models that think, recall, and choose. That’s where synthetic cognition begins.
