The North Field is the world’s largest natural gas field and accounts for nearly all of the state of Qatar’s gas production. The reservoir pressure in Qatar’s North Field has been declining due to continuous production since the early 1990s. The principal objective of the NFPS Project is to sustain the plateau from existing QG South Operation (RL Dry Gas, RGE Wet gas) and existing QG North Operation (QG1 & QG2) production areas by implementing an integrated and optimum investment program consisting of subsurface development, pressure drop reduction steps and compression.

CONTRACTOR’s WORK includes the detailed design engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of Onshore Collaborative Centre (OCC) and associated buildings), Onshore Logistics Base (OLB), Warehouse, Workshop, Facilities and associated civil works inside existing COMPANY South Plant. COMPANY South Plant is located at Ras Laffan Industrial City, which is an industrial hub located 80 km North of Doha, Qatar.

QatarEnergy LNG is leading the development of the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Project. NFPS Compression project will be implemented through various EPC Projects- COMP1 to COMP9 and BAEC is the main contractor for COMP9 Project.

Summer Intern

I do attend to calls from different customers ranging from Professors, Drs., Head of Departments, Non-teaching staffs and students when any technical issues arise from the classrooms or laboratories or if any installed software isn't working properly or they are having issues connecting to the campus wifi and lots more. We do create a tickets for all request and assign it to the Technical Team in ITS-QU for proper solution and we follow up till the issue is resolved and now close it.

Qatar hosted the International Handball Federation (IMF) in World Men's Handball Championship in 2015 and I was among the transport coordinator who worked with the drivers coming from Lusail and other venues to Radisson Blu Hotel and we provide them with official cars to take them to their respective hotels.
