Your website and sales materials should answer:
“Who is this for, what does it solve, and why now?”
If it’s unclear to you, it’s invisible to them.

How do you navigate the storms in your life and in your business? 



Running my own business has been one heck of a storm so far. 

Entrepreneurship is by far, my greatest teacher.

Some of the storms in my journey: 

→ Started my career as hydrographic engineer: spending months at sea, mapping the seafloor. Longest I spent at sea in one go was 10 weeks. 

→ Team leader of teams at sea in my early twenties. Leading teams in stressful circumstances, navigating storms (both at sea and in between people!)

→ Quit my first job to follow the love of my life to the other side of the world (Fiji Islands) when I was 24 and lived one year in the South Pacific (Fiji, Samoa, New Caledonia).

→ Raised bilingual French/ British, born in France to British parents. My husband is German, and we live in Sweden – I speak 5 languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Swedish

→ Existential crisis at 28 (what do I want to do with my life) and started my own company: ‘The Focus Bee’ to coach high achievers to reach their goals. 

→ Host of the podcast: ‘The Focus Bee Show’, with 330+ episodes, and great guests like Jairek Robbins, David Allen... 

→ Author of the book ‘The Magic of Focus’.

→ Written 192 articles (including my blog & third-party journals)

→ Received several awards: The Coaching Academy Coaching Award, Brainz top 500, Speaking Excellence Awards, Top 15 Coaches in Stockholm – influence digest 

→ Coached leaders around the world: from solopreneurs to startup founders, project managers and CEOs on high performance, productivity, leadership and resilience. Coached in 5 languages. 

→ Creatively expansive: play the piano, guitar, flute and sing; draw & paint; write fiction. 

→ Messed up a lot. Failed a lot. Doubted a lot. That’s why I’m passionate about mental performance and resilience. ‘It’s not what happens to you, it’s what you do about what happens to you.’


Through all these storms, I spent most of my time being terrified and doing it anyway. Courage is my number one value.

This is what I’m not taking into the new year. 😯


I used to believe success came from adding more. 

Always more. 


More time. 

More freedom. 

More money. 

More experiences. 

More fun….


Until one point when I realised that a lot of joy & happiness came from less. 

Less clutter. 

Less chaos. 

Less stress. 

Less overwhelm. 

Less fear. 


So here are 5 things I am not taking into this New Year.

I am letting go of: 

⤷ Harsh inner critic 

⤷ Fear of rejection & failure

⤷ Chronic impostor syndrome

⤷ Belief everything needs to be perfect

⤷ Compulsion of over-organising & tidying. 


Though these patterns will probably show up from time to time, I am actively releasing them from my life as they do not serve me and hold me back.
