Zodiac is a global company and has been implementing Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) across its sites throughout the world. A large part of my work here is to support the operations team to engender a continuous improvement mindset within the business to move away from the traditional fire fighting culture that has existed for many years.

Defining and implementing a strategy for the machine shop with 1 machine replacement complete and a further 2 planned. The purpose is to create flexibility and agility to meet the varied demands of the business. Also to take pressure from the bottleneck machines.
Implemented Kanbans throughout the machine shop and filter cell to control the supply of common product parts.
Leading a lean project to improve productivity of Microscreen manufacture giving a 50% increase in output and an 8 week reduction in lead time.
