For 18 years, I’ve worked with and for multinational companies - as a recruiter, a manager, an executive coach and career coach in Dubai. Through this work, I learned why some people succeed while others struggle in the corporate world.

I’ve personally faced and overcome company restructures, job loss and working in a toxic culture. I learned how to navigate the job market and successfully change careers.

As a partner of the firm, I am responsible for fundraising, deal sourcing, startup due diligence, contract negotiation, startup strategy advisory, and team leadership. Because we are a startup fund manager ourselves, I am also involved in legal documentation review along with our legal counsel, HR processes set up, and relationship management across various stakeholders.

- Maximize startup capital by managing funds, complying with organizational standards, and coordinating with the fund administrator
- Confirm the legitimacy of funds by analyzing/delivering fund documentation and placement memorandum

Managed a multi-million dollar portfolio across different asset classes:

- Direct investments: GCC and Europe across different industries and in different stages of the life cycle

1. Developed an annual investment strategy in line with specific asset allocation and investment objectives aiming at generating a 7% annual return (average of 13.6% annually was actually generated)
2. Analyzed different investments including but not limited to their legal framework, business plan, and revenue strategy, and presented recommendations to the principal on different options 
3. Sat on the board of companies the family office was directly invested in to review business plans and annual budgets, as well as help in formulating strategies moving forward to build a profitable sustainable business
4. Reviewed all legal contracts from prospectus documents to M&A agreements along with lawyers
5. Set up and managed a trust with its underlying structures for succession and tax planning purposes
