I'm Arpit.

I have been in the design industry for over 5 years, with experience in building multiple 0-to-1 products across Fintech, Web3, Creator economy, edtech& eCommerce domains.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with 60+ clients on 120+ projects in my freelancing journey. 

I also design for growth, using design to drive engagement and build audiences. 

I have experience working in cross-functional product teams as a remote designer, and I always receive great feedback for being a hard-working team player, delivering beautifully executed, impactful designs.

Beyond professional commitments, I enjoy contributing to the design community through articles on LinkedIn and Medium, and by developing design resources that support other designers. In my leisure time, I explore the worlds of anime and comedy films, travel to new destinations, and am currently learning to play the synthesiser.

So this was kinda the first time for me attending any event like this.

And honestly… it was a super amazing experience.

From the entrance.
To meeting amazing fellow designers.
To hearing panels and insights from some of the biggest names in the industry.
What an evening.

Learning about:

- How Figma is building towards a future where designers aren’t just designers but the makers.

- From learning how DigiLocker was designed and built (and now serves 1 billion+ Indians)… there were some crazy fun learnings here.

- To understanding how PhonePe serves Tier 6 users (totally new term for me, villages with less than 5000 people and lacking education).

And my biggest takeaway from all the panels was from the PhonePe Head of Design Rahul Gonsalves 

“Taking care in building products.”

As designers, we rush.
Deadlines.
Urgent deliveries.
Fast-paced work.
And in that speed, we sometimes forget to care about the product we’re building… and how important it is.

Another highlight was meeting all the Friends of Figma chapter leaders.
It made me realise I need to do so much more to give back to the community.
