This project started with a goal: don't make me look like everyone else.

That was the brief Clinton gave us.

He's an expert in brand films, so he didn't want a typical filmmaker website, no standard layout for his portfolio, or long paragraphs trying to sell him. 

He wanted people to get his work and personality without being forced onto them.

That made things interesting.

We didn't jump into designing away.

First, we tried to understand how he sees his work and what kind of clients he wants to work with. What makes his work different? What doesn't he want to be known for?

Then we started wireframing, we looked at the examples he shared, and also checked out sites to understand how they were structured and flowed.

After that, we moved on to design.

We created the draft.
It looked clean, structured, and professional.
But it didn't feel like him.
So we went back to the drawing board.

In the version, we cut down on explanations and focused more on his actual films

Less talking and more showing aimed to let his work build trust.

It's still not final; there are iterations to come.

I'll keep sharing how this unfolds.
