Don't start your DM with: "Hope this message finds you well”

It has never found anyone well. Try this instead: 

1. Relevant + Good Timing + Personalised
• 2-4 sentences max. It's a DM, not an email.
• Personalise the 1st and the last line of your DM.

2. Value + Social Proof
• Show the Status QUO is not desirable by focusing on Cost of Inaction
• Add social proof with an example of a similar company = build trust faster

3. End strongly
• End with ONE clear yes/no call-to-action.
• Be super specific about what you’re asking for (don't ask the meeting)

This formula will get you a response: 

Name - <observation>, <value>. <social proof> + <risk reversal>. <CTA>.

Some good openers examples:

• Artur - your CEO <name> mentioned on a pod...
• Matt - saw in your <name of the report>...
• Yurii - despite 293k visits in October...

*Bonus tip: Move beyond DMs

- Combine DMs + Calls + Email.
- Decision-makers are more likely to respond that way.
- Use tools like Prospeo.io to find email addresses/phone numbers.

It makes you look bad. Here’s why: 

AI does a lot. 

Deep research? (AiSDR)
Enrichment? (Clay)
Drafts? (Twain).

But AI can’t originate.

Also, AI often misses crucial context:

• If they already have a solution like yours
• How your solution fits into the prospect's ecosystem
• Whether your timing makes sense for their business cycle

- Clear reason why act now
- micro-stories with social proof
- Relevant, well timed and good offer

Cold Email Rewrite

Your cold email should be like a burger.

The first bite has to be so good, prospects want more.

Unfortunately, most emails are gas station sandwiches.

Here's the 8-ingredient recipe to cook up a Michelin Star +15% reply rate:

1. Subject Line (The Bun Top)
- Think boring, think internal. 
- Keep it simple, under 3 words.

2. Opener (The First Bacon Bite)
- Your 1st line should scream "I did my homework."
- Use enrichment tools to find info for a "punchy start" 

3. Relevance (The Cheese)
- Focus on WHY NOW, instead of WHY US
- Work-related reasons always win.

4 Pain Point (The Healthy Stuff)
- Mirror their biggest challenge and reveal the cost of inaction.
- This is the only way to create real urgency.

5. Value (The Pickled Onion)
- Nobody cares about your product/service. 
- Everyone's looking for "what's in it for me”. not “what we do”

6 Social Proof (The Lettuce)  
- Show how you helped similar companies. 
- One specific win beats ten vague claims.

7. Clear CTA (The Meat)
- Make saying "no" easy. 1 yes/no question.
- Reduce friction, build trust.

8. P.S. Section (The Secret Sauce)
- Save personal interests for PS. 
- Let your main email focus on business value.

Kvůli věkové diskriminaci a neefektivnímu talent managementu ztrácejí (nejen) české firmy konkurenceschopnost a promrhávají obrovský potenciál.

Věděli jste, že:

- V roce 1950 byla průměrná délka dožití 67 let. Do roku 2015 se prodloužila na 79 let. Okolo roku 2050 to podle prognóz bude už 84 let.

- Do roku 2050 klesne podíl lidí v produktivním věku ze 64% na 57%. 

- Z trhu práce odejde do 10 let více než 1,2 milionu lidí.

- Více než 20% zaměstnanců je starších 50 let.

- Lidé 55+ jsou na trhu práce jednou z nejrizikovějších skupin. V roce 2019 tvořili téměř 26% všech uchazečů o zaměstnání - oproti roku 2008 je to nárůst o 9%.

- Česká republika se s 60,3% vnímané diskriminace vůči lidem 55+ řadí na čtvrté nejhorší místo v EU - za Bulharsko, Rumunsko a Maďarsko. 


Bojuju proti věkovým předsudkům a dokazuju, že každý věk má své kouzlo a pomáhám firmám vytvářet prostředí, kde věk není brzda, ale příležitost. 

Moje práce spojuje dlouholetou profesní zkušenost z HR, věčnou zvědavost, odvahu bourat věkové stereotypy a upřímnou chuť měnit českou pracovní kulturu tak, aby byla férová i pro nás, kdo jsme už překročili padesátku a pořád máme co nabídnout.

Jsem certifikovaná trenérka vzdělávání dospělých a aplikované improvizace. Baví mě designovat a vést workshopy, které mají říz, jdou k věci a hlavně vedou ke konkrétním uvědoměním, krokům a změnám.

Naplno se věnuju tématu age managementu a pomáhám firmám budovat prostředí, kde se naplno využívá potenciál každého - bez ohledu na věk.  Absolvovala jsem leadership program z Maine Council on Ageing a pořád se v tématu dál vzdělávám, abych své zkušenosti a know-how mohla předávat dál.

V jednapadesáti už si člověk jen horko-těžko vzpomene na to, jaké to bylo, když šel na svůj úplně první pracovní pohovor v životě. Já si třeba vůbec nemůžu vybavit, jestli jsem vůbec nějakej životopis měla, a jestli jo, musela jsem ho určitě psát ručně, protože o počítači jsem si v roce 1992 mohla nechat leda zdát. 

Proto se dneska mega těším na povídání se studenty Střední Pedagogické Školy v Příbrami v rámci Den pro školu , budeme se totiž bavit o tom, jak se na tenhle veledůležitý moment připravit. 

Doba ovšem trochu pokročila, takže se jim mimo jiné chystám ukázat, co to vlastně je LinkedIn a jak si pomocí Macaly Resume Builderu můžou doslova do minuty nechat vygenerovat osobní web.  

Co myslíte, je vibe-coding součástí jejich slovníku? 
Pravděpodobnost je tak 6-7 :)

Malé ohlédnutí za vším, co se mi za posledních pár týdnů povedlo/udělalo mi radost - post inspirovaný Tomáš Paulus 👏 

1. Vernisáž interaktivní výstavy MILA “Institut Blízkosti". Silný zážitek, prostor pro zpomalení a uvědomění si, jak moc důležité je (a ještě bude, čím dál víc) téma péče a pečujících.

2. Den pro školu pro čtvrťáky SSPCG v Příbrami na téma “Career Ready - how to land your dream job”. Byli skvělí a dokonce se zasmáli, když jsem na ně v průběhu prezentace vytáhla “six-seven”. (Přes výslovný zákaz od mé starší dcery, která mi při nácviku doma řekla, že jsem cringe a že to nefitnu). Hele, kámo, fitla jsem to :)

3. Druhý workshop našeho půlročního Management Akcelerátoru - rozvojového programu pro manažery, který jsme v září rozjeli v Emplifi. Téma bylo “Communication mastery” a mám velkou radost, že jsem na něj měla k ruce Šimon Steffal z Mindset Mentors, protože pracovat s ním je za odměnu. 

4. Skvělé, inspirující setkání žen v Aflab komunitě. Nechyběla improvizace (díky Pavla Vedralová), přednášky, networking, výroba vlastního parfému  nebo meditace. A hned týden nato druhé setkání naší mastermind skupinky pod taktovkou jedinečné a báječné Alzbeta Vackova.

5. TEDxPragueWomen kde jsme se měli s Age Management Prakticky partnerský stánek. Podařilo se nám udělat z něj místo k zamyšlení nad otázkami “co bych vzkázala svému 20-ti letému já” a “co bych chtěla, aby mi (nebo o mě) říkali ostatní, až mi bude 80? Díky moc za pozvání Mirka Hofmanová Hoffmanova. 

6. Dva webináře pro zaměstnance pro jednoho z klientů. Už mám za sebou téma “Jak na dlouhověkost ve zdraví” a v pátek mě ještě čeká “Odchod do důchodu - nová kapitola života”. Těším se! 

7. AI konference, na které jsem se nachytrala, objevila Google AI studio a naučila se pár skvělých nových tríčků s Notebook LM. No a plus jsem tam konečně pokecala s Tomáš Paulus, poté, co jsme se předtím bezvýsledně naháněli několik měsíců (setkání v sauně se nepočítá:)

Pro všechny kolegy(ně) z HR: Jestli o rozvoji nechcete jen kecat, ale chcete ho zažít na vlastní kůži, pak na tuhle snídani prostě musíte dorazit. 

Rozvojové programy se dají dělat různě - Ondřej Nečas vám ukáže, proč má smysl trénovat klíčové kompetence vašich lidí právě pomocí aplikované improvizace. 

Jestli stihnete před vánocemi jen jednu akci ... tohle je ona.

Pořád dokola vám z HR vysvětluju, jak je ta naše aplikovaná improvizace skvělá a funkční. :-) Tak jsem si řekl: "Dost povídání, pojďme si to ukázat!" ;-)

Nejen že pomáhá s osobnostním růstem, ale i s pořádným natrénováním těch nezbytných soft skills – komunikace, spolupráce, přirozený leadership, práce se změnou… prostě všechno to, co se od lidí a jejich soft-skills ve firmách pořád čeká, ale málokdo jim to fakt pomůže trénovat.

A my to děláme na míru upečený.
Když je to jednohubka, tak to potěší a inspiruje, ale nezasytí.
Když tomu dáš pravidelnost a dlouhodobost, začne to mít koule. 💥
Je to jako ve fitku – po jedné návštěvě taky nemáš břišáky (bohužel).

Takže jsem se rozhodl, že 10. 12. před Vánoci uspořádám první HR impro snídani.

Bez prezentací, zato s kávou, croissanty a otevřeným sdílením o tom, jak nad rozvojem přemýšlíme u nás ve ŠKOLA IMPROVIZACE.
