We produce 6,000–8,000 seconds of animated content every year, and this is the exact process behind every single video, copy us:

I keep seeing companies try to do this in-house and they repeat the same mistakes every time:

- Hiring one “motion designer” to do the job of an entire team
- Ignoring art and creative direction entirely
- Writing motion scripts like talking-head videos
- No real research just scripting what feels good
- Out-of-brand visuals that dilute the company’s identity
- I could list more, but honestly, it’d take a full day.

The outcome is always the same:
videos that hurt the brand more than they help it.
They look amateur and people subconsciously judge the company as amateur.

In this video, I broke down our entire process for free the system behind the work you see from Truggl.

If you want to build this in-house properly, the minimum setup looks like this:

- Creative / Art Director
- Illustrator (asset creation)
- UI Designer (structure & visual systems)
- Script Copywriter (who understands motion, not blogs)
- Skilled Motion Designer (not a Fiverr or Upwork generalist)
- Sound designer

And yes they all need to actually work well together.

When that system is in place, the payoff is massive:
a nonstop content engine of videos, GIFs, Lotties, static assets, and website visuals all aligned, all on-brand.

And just to be clear:
AI still isn’t there. There’s no “Lovable” or “Bolt” for motion yet.

I feel sorry for brands that mix video marketing with social media video content.
It’s one of the worst mistakes a brand lead can make...

Here’s what I mean.

On one hand, there’s normal social media video content the stuff social media agencies usually do:
• office tours
• mini event vlogs
• employee interviews

This is filler content.
It’s fine. It’s useful. It can be posted weekly alongside static content.
It doesn’t require many resources and it’s not expensive.

I actually like this type of content it fills the gaps.

The problem starts when brands treat video marketing the same way.

Video marketing is a different category entirely:
• explainer videos
• brand videos
• testimonial videos

This type of content is resource-intensive, strategic, and not meant to be produced or used weekly.

Using these videos one by one like normal social content is basically setting money on fire.
They’re almost guaranteed to fail when used this way.

From experience, the most effective approach is building a 3-stage video funnel, where:
• each video has a role
• each stage supports the next
• everything is built around campaigns, not random posting

and it’s exactly what we apply with all our clients.

New year. New formats. New challenges.

One of the last videos we made: “2025 Wrapped”–style video for Markaaz, inspired by Spotify’s Wrapped format.

The goal wasn’t “just another video.”
It was to turn raw yearly achievements into a story people can instantly understand progress, momentum, and credibility in under a minute.

If you’ve followed our work with Markaaz, you’ll notice something different here.
This video doesn’t follow their usual art direction and that was intentional.

Wrapped-style content demands:
• faster pacing
• more visual experimentation
• stronger narrative beats

Their existing branding wasn’t built for that so we stretched it without breaking it.

First time producing a Wrapped-style video.
Clear win.

This is also how we think about video systems, not one-offs.
Different goals → different formats → different creative rules.
