For over 20 years, I’ve led in-house marketing and branding teams for high profile organizations in all sectors. I worked on the first Obama presidential campaign, then as a political appointee in the U.S. government, where I harnessed the power of social media early when I started the first cabinet-level instagram, the wildly popular Department of the Interior account. I’ve also had experience at the state level, where I was the Chief Digital Officer for the State of New York. I’ve led campaigns for nonprofits like Oxfam and Everytown for Gun Safety. 

And most recently, I built the content marketing program at WeWork into a revenue-driving machine.

Very few – if any! – marketers today have the broad range of experience that I do. With this level of expertise, a passion for building effective strategies and campaigns, and a love of working directly with people to improve their businesses, I decided it was time to start my own digital marketing consultancy. I am beyond excited to announce the official launch of Find Out Media - a different kind of media company.

I hope you will join us in taking on the right-wing political ecosystem and help take our country in a much better direction.

WHAT. A. NIGHT. Last night we hosted the Find Out Media launch party with about 100 of our closest friends in the political and creator space. 

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the launch of this very special company (that has six shows coming in March/April!). 

The energy around this launch has felt amazing. People are excited about what we are building - and that someone is finally building out a portion of what the left has needed for years. 

And we are so proud to be in this fight with so many amazing people.

This week has been amazing, but this is just the beginning. There is much more work to do and I cannot wait to get started!

Last night Find Out Media hosted our first ever live State of the Union show from the DNC studio in Washington, DC. 

It was even more incredible than I was hoping. 

We had an amazing crew of influencers plus Senator Chris van Holland and Reps. Sarah Jacobs and Maxwell Frost. 

We told the true state of the Union, which is sadly not strong at the moment. We pushed back on the lies and told people the truth.

Judging by the reaction - people really liked it. 

Democrats are closing the independent media gap with the right - and if we keep moving in this direction - the country will be better off for it. 

Thank you to our amazing friends at the DNC, Magnitude Media, At Dawn Strategies and our incredible creator friends on a night I won’t forget for a longtime.

I can honestly say this was the biggest week in Find Out Media's history! So. Much. To. Report!

Co-hosted our first ever event - the Good Influence State of the Union Reception. Thanks to Josh C. and Stuart Perelmuter for including us!

And now for the big event - we hosted the Find Out Media State of the Union Live show from the DNC on Tuesday night. Over the course of 5.5 hours, we hosted politicians like Senator Chris Van Hollen and Reps. Sarah Jacobs and Maxwell Frost along with countless influencers that have a combined reach in the tens of millions. Even though the speech was awful, we had a great time showing the power of bringing politicians and creators together to push back on the Trump Administration lies.

And on Wednesday, we hosted the Find Out Media launch party in DC! Roughly 100 people joined us to celebrate our upcoming six shows and the exciting road ahead.

It was a tiring, but incredibly fun and important week for Find Out Media as we begin the more public phase of our existence.

After hosting a live State of the Union event at the DNC and hosting our launch party for Find Out Media, this week was quieter, but still lots to celebrate.

Officially launched Find Out Media with our new Substack and our amazing promo video produced by the amazing Clare Cheyne.

Released an episode on the Iran War with The Economists Middle East Correspondent and the former Deputy Secretary of State for Israeli-Palestinian Affairs. This shows we are getting serious experts coming onto our show, which is really exciting.

Had our most fun live show to date with Mr. Global (who has a show coming to the Find Out Media network this month!) and Tim Whittaker (we have live shows every Wednesday night at 8:45pm ET).

Working on a super cool idea to help fund efforts to take back the house and senate. More to come!

The Beer is the same Suarez Pils as last week (sorry, I'm a creature of habit :).

One of the reasons I'm excited to build Find Out Media is that in the long run, this should mean we can run campaigns on smaller budgets. 

At lease the national ones.

Time after time Democrats outspend Republicans in national campaigns. In fact, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Joe Biden/Kamala Harris spent more on their campaigns than Trump, and only one of the three were successful.

Why?

The right has invested in and supported their creators/podcasters/TV channels for decades. They carried Trump's message free for the campaign. And you know what? It worked.

Democrats have a long way to go and to be honest, finding investment for these projects is still tough. But it seems more and more candidates/campaigns are understanding the power of independent media.

If Democrats want to win close elections - we must invest more in this space.

If we don't - no amount of paid ads will ever close the gap.

Let's get moving on investing millions in many different creators/podcasters/streamers and then elevate the ones that take off.

Democratic funders need to create a start up culture around their giving, so we can finally close this gap once and for all.

Yes NYC is in the middle of a blizzard, and yes I’m out in it to get a train to DC. That’s how much our State of the Union Live Show means to me.
