LinkedIn is dead....

According to everyone on LinkedIn. 

Every year, people will become motivated to post on here. 
Often they'll see momentum fast. 

But then change happens...

A new format or algorithm change arrives
And often people aren't fast enough. 

They will continue to use the same techniques as before. 
And their results and motivation will start to diminish. 

But here's the brutal reality...

LinkedIn (like most social platforms) change ALL the time. 
To keep up you need to adapt fast and be very resilient.

So here's 6 tips for staying on top of the changes 
And how to adapt fast. 

1. Kill the ego 

- Understand that the algorithm doesn't care about you 
- The more sharable the content, the likely it is to perform

2. Always keep audience at the top of mind 

- Your content should always serve your audience 
- Think about the psychology of how your content stops the scroll

3. Study the best people in your industry 

- Great creators adapt fast. So follow those who adjust at speed 
- If someone changes up, check it out and break down why

4. Experiment all the time

- Do not continue to use the same format if it doesn't work 
- Treat each post like an experiment and test different variables

5. Accept things with a pinch of salt 

- There is a lot of misinformation spread on here 
- What will work for others may not work for you

6. Play the long game 

- Remember 0.1% growth compounds daily 
- Those who quit, never see the benefits

LinkedIn is not dead. 
It's dead for those who are unwilling to change.

Give 1 prompts = level 1 results. 

Steal this to go from beginner to pro:

Prompting AI is like any other skill.  
Poor inputs give poor outputs...

And prompting well is a learning process. 

Many are stuck at level 1, perhaps level 2 if they're trying.
But the real power of LLMs is hidden in levels 3 and 4.

That's where you stop getting generic outputs, and start: 

- Creating higher quality outputs with less iterations
- Building reusable systems which scale with your business
- Working with a 24/7 digital assistant trained on your data

Here are the 4 levels of prompting broken down: 

Level 1: The Commander

“Write me a post.”

Goal: Get something fast.
Mindset: Task-first, no context.

This is where most people stay. 
You get quick answers but generic results. 

How to improve:
- Add a clear role and goal to every request.
- Ask AI to explain how it got to the answer.

Level 2: The Architect

“Act as a content strategist. 
Build a LinkedIn post using this brief, audience, and tone.”

Goal: Add structure and clarity.
Mindset: Context-first, single focus.

You’re starting to give direction. 
You define who the output is for, the purpose, and the format. 

How to improve:
- Use simple structure: Role → Task → Context → Output.
- Include examples of great work to show the standard you expect.

Level 3: The Strategist

“Here’s the audience, style, and examples. 
Build three options, critique them, and improve the best one.”

Goal: Create consistent, high-quality work.
Mindset: Iteration and reasoning.

This is where results compound. 
You build systems, test ideas, and refine based on feedback. 

How to improve:
- Use feedback loops: create → review → refine → finalise.
- Ask it to think through trade-offs or risks before giving the answer.

Level 4: The Master

“You are my Growth Engineer. 
Use context from Notion, Google Drive, 
and previous brand frameworks to draft this week’s content plan.”

Goal: Automation and leverage.
Mindset: Integration and systems thinking.

AI becomes part of your workflow. 
It understands your data, preferences, and strategy. 

How to improve:
- Layer context from your documents, briefs, and past results.
- Build reusable prompt systems that evolve over time.

So I think I'm about to do the most stupid thing I've done. 

And I'm really not ready for it... 

Running 10k every single day for 30 days.

Here's the story: 

A few days ago I was chatting to my good friend Angus Parker about my total running KM for the year. 
I had done just under 700km. 

(Not bad for something I've been doing just for my silly lil brain health) 

But something annoyed me... 

I was 300km off of a wonderfully round 1000km. 

I then thought "how hard could that be in one month?" 
After few quite delusional afterthoughts, I thought why not go for it. 

And so... December300 is born. 

10k a day, every single day, until the end of the month. 

Now I don't just want this to be a personal challenge for me. 

I want to invite anyone else who wants to do it with me!

1. Top of Funnel (TOFU): Educate & attract.

Only 3% of your ideal clients will ever reach out first.

That leaves 97% of your audience waiting for you to make a move. 

From that 97%, you might convert 5%.

But it is more than accessible and scalable to everyone.

Week 1 - 7/30 back to back 10k runs complete ! 

Here's what it's taught me: 

1. Challenges are f*cking awesome. 

If you'd have said 2 weeks ago I'd be running 10ks every single day... 
I'd have said "Nope, not possible". 

But for some reason, setting this challenge has allowed me to push WAY past,  
what I thought was originally possible. 

It feels like the start hehehe.

2. It's kick-started other good habits

Because I'm so scared of injury I'm: 

- Doing mobility work everyday 
- Eating well 
- Sleeping like a log

I have never been this consistent with them, and it feels great ! 

3. Better decision making

Because every morning I have 1 hour of interrupted thinking time
My clarity of thought and focus has shot up like crazy. 

I'm getting less overwhelmed with tasks and it's wayyy easier to "lock in".

4. I feel genuinely more happy and grateful

Waking up every morning knowing you've got to run sucks (a lot) 

But once it's done, everything else comes into perspective. 

Problems seem smaller. 
I feel way more present throughout the day 
And I deeply appreciate quite mundane things

With that said it's been ruthlessly cold out in the mornings. 

Which is the exact reason I'm raising money for ShelterUK. 

It's so easy to forget how lucky we genuinely are having a roof over our head.

But here's what genuinely surprised me: 

You tend to have so much more to give than you originally think. 

If you'd of asked me to do 2 back to back 10ks last week...
My response would be "nah I'm good pal" 

It would be doable, but my mind would see it as ridiculously hard. 

But when you set a challenge, something weird happens. 

Your brain adapts to actually do it. 

It doesn't matter how hard it is. 
Or how little self belief you may have. 

A challenge with purpose makes things far more doable. 

And this is what I'm taking into 2026. 

I'm a very ambitious person (probs too much sometimes lol) 
But this opened up my mind to realise I can actually do so much more. 

So next time you're in a bit of a rut. 
Or feel like momentum is slowing down on things...

Set a stupidly hard challenge. 

One that scares you. 

Because it can genuinely change how you think about things moving forward.
