Another 50-page strategy deck won't help you
if your team can't execute it.

Here's the 5-step framework to make that happen:
1. Objectives: From vague goals to 3-5 key results.
2. Timeline: From annual pressure to weekly sprints.
3. Actions: From a long to-do list to 2-3 daily priorities.
4. Ownership: From group confusion to individual accountability.
5. Accountability: From monthly check-ins to a consistent daily rhythm.

I just advised a fast-growing startup to rip out its entire Clay setup.

They were a series B company scaling their sales team.

And their outbound operation was breaking down.

The problem?

"Regressions."
"Tables breaking randomly."
"Reps losing trust in the data."

They had built a Ferrari engine inside a spreadsheet.

Here is how I see it:
Clay is the best prototyping tool out there atm.

It allows you to validate a workflow fast.

But it is NOT a production environment (yet - we'll see how they evolve).

When you need state management, high volume, and 99.9% reliability, spreadsheets break.

IMO the maturity curve of a GTME team looks like this:

The Lab (Prototype)
- Tool: Clay
- Goal: Find signal
- Metric: Speed to insight

The Factory (Production)
- Tool: n8n + Neon (or Supabase, really any SQL DB)
- Goal: Scale signal
- Metric: Reliability & Uptime

TL;DR
Don't confuse your workbench with your factory.
Make it work in Clay. Make it scale in n8n.

GTM Engineering should be treated like product development.

Cause it is.

See a lot of orgs still treat it like a support function though.

IMO if you want to crush this wave of GTM engineering, you should treat it like a product.

You are building the GTM infrastructure.

The way I view the "GTM Operating System":
- The Product = The Revenue Engine
- The Users = Sales, Marketing, and/ or CS
- The Goal = Get, keep, and make customer worth more

Here is how I see the best teams operating right now:
1. GTMEs own the roadmap
2. Sprints (fast iterations, 1-2 week cycles. Build, ship, iterate.)
3. Release (If you deploy code (process changes/ automations etc), you tell the users. GTM teams should be sending release notes to the org after every sprint.)

TL;DR 
Don't confuse admin with engineering. 
One is reactive, the other is proactive.
