AI changed. 

Most people haven't noticed yet.

I'm in marketing, but this week I started exploring VS Code with Claude Code to see if I could automate parts of my job.

What I found surprised me.

We're not in the "prompt era" anymore.

Remember when AI meant typing a sentence and hoping for the best? You'd rewrite your prompt 5 times, get 5 different outputs, and maybe one was useful.

That game has changed.

We're now in the "agent era."

The difference? Structure.

When you organize your context properly, your brand voice, your company knowledge, your workflows, AI stops being a random creative and starts being a reliable team member.

It follows your playbook. Consistently.

Most people haven't caught up yet. And honestly, I almost missed it too.

I believe the ones who learn context engineering and agent building now will have a serious edge.

I'm still learning. But one week in, something already clicked:
