We zien het in onze scans, audits en due diligence en merken het aan de vragen die we krijgen van Founders/CEOs, CFOs en Product/Tech leads. 

Waar het de voorgaande jaren juist beter werd, zien we sinds ongeveer één jaar  een terugval; meer onzekerheid binnen bedrijven die tech gebruiken, maken of verkopen. 

⚖️ Aan de ene kant: Founders/CEOs die zich gegijzeld voelen door de product/tech situatie. Die niet snappen waarom het allemaal zo moeilijk is. Er wakker van liggen maar wel door moeten. 

⚖️ Aan de andere kant: Product/Tech leads die niet over de bühne krijgen waarom bepaalde dingen langer duren, meer kosten of onzeker zijn.

De ironie? Iedereen gaat harder. AI versnelt alles. Maar we zien dat die snelheid de kloof in sommige gevallen alleen maar groter maakt. Voor start-ups vaak prima—maar voor bedrijven die wat verder zijn een groot risico.

After the acquisition of Usabilla by SurveyMonkey in 2019 I transitioned from the Usabilla CEO role to a VP Product role within SurveyMonkey. I was responsible for the Customer Experience product strategy which was a combination of Usabilla and another 2019 SurveyMonkey acquisition, GetFeedback.

Usabilla (now GetFeedback / SurveyMonkey) is a leading SaaS Voice of Customer (VoC) solution that helps organizations to collect, analyze and act on real-time user feedback to improve their products and customer experiences. Usabilla helps over 1000 global brands like Vodafone, Booking.com, KLM, Tommy Hilfiger, Toyota, Lufthansa, Phillips & T-Mobile to improve their digital experiences on websites, apps and emails. 

In April 2019 Usabilla was acquired by SurveyMonkey (now Momentive, MNTV:NASDAQ) for $80M.

During my time as CEO for Usabilla I've led the company from 5 employees in 2012 to 130 employees in 2019 with offices in Amsterdam, New York, London, Berlin, Sydney and Italy.

After steering the leadership of Usabilla’s people and the product for many years, I'm proud to announce that Usabilla was officially acquired and joined SurveyMonkey as of April 2019.
