At 18 years old, life challenged me.

I was supposed to figure out how to close $1.5M in family debt.

I started freelancing and learning SEO, ads, etc…

But freelancing would take years to close such debt.

So I got an opportunity to work with a business owner.

And I promised him to scale his eCom business and cut a deal to get 10% of profits instead of a fixed fee.

Two months in, I took him from a few thousand to 66,000$/month.

Then, I got offered 30% to handle the entire business.

A few months later, we started hitting $100K, $200K, and even $300K in sales/month.

That’s when I was able to pay my family’s debt, start building my own businesses and become financially free.

That’s what I did when I hit rock bottom.

E-commerce changed my life.

- Mentoring design interns seeking experience in UI/UX. Introduce them to UI/UX, design thinking, and assign tasks to allow them to practice in a real product environment.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into unique product experiences.
- Collaborate with the product team to define problems and develop solutions.
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to set priorities and scopes.
- Provide leadership, set standards, and provide coaching for a team of 6 designers.
- Develop processes to support the team and improve efficiency.
- Identify and tackle problems in the pipeline of collaboration between design and engineering teams.

- Lead a team of 9 designers in producing educational, age-appropriate animated videos as part of a larger production pipeline specialized in e-learning curriculums.
- Work closely with the content, linguistic, engineering, and QA teams to set priority lists, refine the pipeline, and set objectives.
- Manage the team's task distribution, and timeframe estimation.
- Host 1:1 meetings with every designer to develop their skills, tackle problems, and encourage themto excel.
- Host workshops for the animation team to introduce and refine processes.
- Collaborate with engineering team on crafting automation scripts for different design platforms.
