50 Cent is my actual hero. 

If you don’t know much about the legendary petty troll, here’s a few things he’s done to people he doesn’t like. 

He bought the front 4 rows at Ja Rule concert so he would be performing to empty seats. Extra kicker - he bought them on Groupon and paid pittance.

Now he absolutely hates PDiddyphile and always has (good judge of character or what?)…

The Pdo hired a videographer at the beginning of his case to document everything…but because he didn’t win, he didn’t pay. Crook. 

It’s ok though, he didn’t lose out because Fiddy took the tapes off his hands. 

Fiddy notoriously doesn’t speak to the news…however he’s breaking his silence and working with ABC News…because that’s the only channel that’s played in prison.

Have you heard anything as epically petty?

I learnt a long time ago that who you surround yourself with can literally make or break you. 

Spending time getting rid of the negative and toxic people from my life is the best thing I could have ever done. 

Whether they be friends, colleagues, family or partners, people can drag you down and stifle your wonderousnesses. 

I took photos at a Women in Finance event recently, and it was so utterly inspiring. 

Tanya Elmaz (and her brilliant team) put the event on and getting to watch my favourite speaker, Jo P., and listen in on real conversations was a real privilege. 

These are the kind of women that lift you up. Support you. Advise you. Laugh with you. Tell you you’re being a knob when you’re being a knob. 

I’m proud to also be one of those women. 

I’m fiercely in your corner, cheerleading, building, advising, strategising.

When you show up for work on a Saturday afternoon in Shoreditch and get accosted by the LinkedIn massive. 

I started taking photos twenty something years ago at raves. 

More often than not 3 events on both a Friday night and Saturday night. 

I’d walk to my mum and dads, have dinner, put the kid to bed and borrow mums car to get into London (thanks mum x)

Essex > Greenwich > Brixton > Vauxhall and home again before the little one woke up. 

It was a different world to what I’m living in now…I was completely depressed and (even though I was with 000’s of people every weekend) was so lonely. 

So when me and Georgina Dean (and a few others) were talking on here and realised we knew each other from back then, it was a bit weird. 

Fast forward to Saturday (and my annual adult rave job that I still do because everyone’s just gorgeous), I see this shocked face in the crowd and a finger pointing right at me. 

I realised that it wasn’t weird any more. 

It’s wonderful. 

And I’m so very grateful for my life and getting to learn taking photos differently to everyone else. 

That’s why I’m different. 

That’s why I’m so good. 

That’s why you should DM me x

You can make all the excuses you want…budget, Christmas, new moon in Scorpio. 

Business is HARD. 

I’ve been told not to talk about the struggles I have in my business because it stops people wanting to buy from you. 

Screw that. IT’S REALLY HARD. 

You’re running this on your own. You really REALLY care about the people you work with. You’re EXCEPTIONALLY good at what you do. You’re THE most genuine, open, supportive person. You literally change people’s lives, and yet you’ve not sold a photoshoot this month. Add ADHD to the mix and you’re not sure how you’re going to pay your rent in a few days. 

It was all going so well until 2 people pull out of shoots and 3 monthly subscriptions finish at the same time 🤦🏻‍♀️ 

I don’t even know what I’m writing any more. 

This is ‘wake up worried at 3am and try to write a really good post that someone will see and have to buy immediately’ content. 

And beating yourself up over it certainly won’t bloody help - stupid brain. 

Anyway I guess the moral of the story is - Not everything always goes right and that’s just a shit. But we all go through it, and if you’re resonating, I see you. It’s going to be alright, Treacle, I promise x

When people message me off the back of a post (which is most days now thanks to my strategy and photos), they ask where I’m from. 

I mean, I’ve moved to Gillingham but it really doesn’t matter because I’ll go anywhere you need to take photos. 

Like gorgeous Vicki here lives in Devon and it’s a really important piece of her. 

The sun, the sea, the community, memories, business, watersports…more than I know. 

So why wouldn’t I drive an 8 hour round trip and stay overnight to do it?

You need to be 👏 you 👏 in 👏 your 👏 business 👏 

So you need to be somewhere that works with you and your brand. 

Plus…who doesn’t love an adventure.

Someone said to me the other day that people hire me because I’m me…it’s a bonus they get such amazing photos. 

At first I found that really awkward. 

But now I’m like…

Yeah.

I’m an absolute pleasure to be around, I’m hilarious, I’m a chaotic ball of wonderful and I pass it on to you. 

No awkward in front of the camera.
No worried about what people think.
Just a full day of fun and laughter, with bonus photos at the end. 

I’ve had a couple of shoots postponed so have some space before Christmas. 

They ain’t gonna be here for long, so get into my DM’s and let’s GO!x

So yesterday we talked about a short, round, hairy, chode owning, saucy screen star. 

Someone who is unapologetically themself in all aspects of the word. 

And look where it’s got him. 

(Yeah I get that he’s a certain demographic, but we’re taking what’s ours now, OK?)

So how do YOU do that…and how do you do that with ME?

Well it’s simple really. 

We talk. We build our relationship. We gain trust and we get down omelette. 

And when I say I rub off on you, I’m not taking a leaf out of Mr Jeremy’s top shelf read. 

Once you’re ready (and it doesn’t take long), we start building what your business, brand and photos look like. 

My brain starts sparking before we’ve even spoken…I have ALL the ideas. 

(In fact I have ideas for loads of you on here that will probably never book me.)

I might minge about on here, but I am all in with you. And I take my work very seriously, even though we laugh…a LOT.

I know you’re telling yourself all these things to stop you from stepping out of your comfort zone. 

Well let me address some of them right now…

‘I don’t have the confidence’ - That’s why we work on that together and build it up so you ARE ready. 

‘I’m not photogenic’ - Total crap! I will not only take photos of you that you like…you’ll bloody love them and want more. 

‘People will look at me while we’re on the shoot’ - Not that I’m making this all about me, but when you see a middle aged, overweight woman, sweating and groaning when she gets off the floor, they ain’t worried about your gorgeous self. 

‘But I’m not gorgeous’ - YES YOU ARE

‘I don’t need photos’ - You’re massively mistaken. Good imagery is crucial for your business and brand if you want to stand out against your competitors. 

‘I don’t know how to pose’ - Of course you don’t! Why would you if you’ve never done this? I will guide you through everything

Look, I love you from the tip of your head to the depths of your quim

And you’re literally the reason I get to live this gorgeous life (yeah I did the work, you know what I mean…stop being anal)

But it’s not enough

Text and screens and algorithms aren’t enough for me.

Since I moved to Gillingham I haven’t been to any networking events that I haven’t worked at…I miss it!

I used to meet people weekly in London, but it’s not as easy here so my brain says NOPE!

I’d like to go to some around here but I’d need them recommended to me because, well, I’m me!

And I’m the same me at a business thing as I am at not business thing. 

None of this ‘pretending to be professional’ malarkey.

You’re attracting your ideal client and charging your worth, as well as not trying to be someone else (arghhh the weight of that I do not miss).
