2016 vs 2026: you had to be there

Ten years ago, I was a young adult living in Berlin, fresh out of school, working in Finance and already certain it wasn’t for me.

After a trip to Indonesia, I became curious about tech. While living in Italy, I started learning to code: 2 to 4 hours every day, teaching myself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

That led me to design, and eventually to Webflow, where I finally felt the freedom to build and create.

I started freelancing on Upwork. It was barely making money, but I kept going.

One small project after another, until one day, I met Sina Sadegh, a client who would later become the co-founder of magier.

Looking back now, everything changed because I followed my curiosity and stayed committed to learning.

How to structure a website for a B2B SaaS company with two pretty different ICPs? 🤔

That's been our main question when strategically planning the shipzero website ⚙️

In 3 intense workshop sessions, we decided to:

→ Use the homepage to explain the product more generally & explain the 3 "Core Engines" of shipzero & build trust
→ Link to dedicated landing pages for both ICPs very early on that page, to bring users to the page that is the closest to their needs
→ Have an ICP toggle on the pricing page to provide a clear overview to both ICPs

Once the strategic website foundation was done, we also made sure the rest is on fleek:

👉 New website strategy with a clear navigation and content structure
👉 Refined messaging that finally represents Shipzero as it truly is
👉 Fresh design system that brings the brand and product to life
👉 Product visuals that tell the story at a glance
👉 Component-based Webflow setup — the team is now fully independent
👉 No more dev bottlenecks. The site is a true marketing asset now 🙌
