When someone on my team tries a new way to improve a workflow, it may not always work the first time. I do not see that as failure.

I see it as progress.

If you try something and it does not work, you learn fast. If you repeat the same mistake, now you are making a choice.

I want my team to try, learn, and own what they do. I do not want fear of making mistakes to slow us down.

People need room to grow. They need space to make their own calls and find the best way forward.

It is risky, but necessary.

Trust is everything.

When you lead with trust, you give people a chance to surprise you. Often, they do.
