It won’t surprise you to learn that a bad hire can be expensive…..

The average salary in the UK according to ONS (2020) is £30,800 per annum

Traditional recruitment agencies charges on average 20% 

So that’s over £6,000  before the person has got their feet under the table and it climbs quickly if the person in question is taking a senior role. This also doesn’t take into account the costs and time relating to the interview process!

Its hard to put a price and impact onto the wider business but in my experience, it leads to….

I started Stormx alongside my business partner Chris in 2017 having gained over 18 years’ experience, to partner and consult clients to avoid these common and traditional recruitment pitfalls!

How I got here……….
 
⚫  Left school and travelled around South East Asia & Australia to ‘find myself’

⚫  While I continued to ‘find myself’ I joined a high street & international recruitment specialist.

⚫  I realised I enjoyed recruitment (on most days) but didn’t like the corporate mindset so left and joined an independent boutique specialist and helped grow them to over 85 staff.

⚫  Responsible for opening their London office on my own and helped achieve year on year growth in revenue and saw the office grow to over 25 staff heads!

⚫  Co-founded StormX in 2017… and the rest as they say is history!
